The reality starlet, 26, who appeared in the 2016 series, admitted the chef, 20, will be feeling ‘really sad’ after he was evicted due to breaking strict rules just nine days after the show began.

Malin looked back at her time in the show, when Malia Arkian was ejected just an hour after entering the villa, following her explosive row with Kady McDermott.

Speaking about what goes on behind-the-scenes, she told The Mirror: ‘They are there all the time but on this occasion they ran into the villa to the garden.

‘It just kicked off. It went crazy. Security rushed in and took [Malia] away and she was never seen again.

‘To diffuse the situation they had to call Kady in to get her away from it and then somebody would have spoken to her in there and then it was reported back to the rest of us, we all knew what the real reason was. They don’t tolerate [that behaviour] at all.’

Reflecting on the famous row, Malin said she remembered thinking ‘what the hell’ as the fight escalated quickly, and agreed it was the right decision for Malia to go.

She added the islanders were left ‘shaken’ by Malia’s removal but things ‘slowly went back to normal again’.

Malin predicted Sherif will be ‘feeling really sad’ following his removal, but said it must have been ‘serious’ for bosses to make him leave the show.

She added she felt sorry for the because of the strong bonds he has already forged in the villa, especially with Anna Vakili.

Fracas: Back in the second series of the show, Malin’s co-star Malia was ejected just hours after entering when she attacked Kady (pictured) in the midst of a row about wine

Back in the second series of the show, Malin’s co-star Malia was ejected just hours after entering when she attacked Kady in the midst of a row about wine and the latter’s love interest Scott Thomas – and Kady has now made claims about the extent of the attack.

After becoming locked in the row, the duo reignited their feud last year and Kady appears to be ready for drama again as she took to Twitter to pen: ‘She punched me in the nose after and gave me a nose bleed but they didn’t show it as too graphic’.

Love Island viewers were not given full access to the scenes, which Kady now claims saw her nemesis punch her so badly that she suffered a nose bleed.

Shocking: After becoming locked in the row, she took to Twitter to pen: ‘She punched me in the nose after and gave me a nose bleed but they didn’t show it as too graphic’

She tweeted on Sunday: ‘She punched me in the face and gave me a nose bleed but they didn’t sohw it as it was too graphic’.

Malia denied the allegations, as she told MailOnline: ‘Kady is a compulsive liar’.

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Love Island for comment.

Sherif broke his silence soon after he left the show, with an apology, admitting he ‘didn’t conduct himself in the right way.’

His departure comes just nine days after the ITV2 programme began.

He said in a statement: ‘In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers that it was best for me to leave the villa.

‘I regret that I didn’t conduct myself in the right way and, as a 20-year-old guy, it’s something I know I will take on board and learn from.

‘I really enjoyed my time in the villa and look forward to catching up with everyone on the outside.’
