Love Island fans are desperate for Kai Fagan and his new partner Sanam Harrinanan to win this year’s series following his showdown with Olivia Hawkins.
Olivia was seen pulling science and PE teacher Kai, 24, for a chat during Monday’s episode as she was determined for him to apologise for calling her ‘fake’.
The pair were previously coupled-up but they both made connections with two new bombshells when they were separated during Casa Amor.
Olivia chose to return to the main villa with newcomer Maxwell Samuda, 26, while Kai opted to pair up with Sanam, 24.
Despite not choosing to come back single after Casa Amor, Olivia, 27, was rocked by Kai’s decision to move on with someone else.

Unimpressed: Olivia was rocked by Kai’s decision to move on with someone else after Casa Amor and resented that he called her ‘fake’
Discussing the situation with him on Monday, Olivia said: ‘I wanted to pull you for a chat because when I went to Casa things were good, things were really good and I just want to know what made you have these feelings.
‘Thinking I’m not genuine, that I’m fake, I just want to know where that’s come from.’
She added: ‘I was really hurt at the fire pit when you called me fake. That’s not the person I thought I knew, they’re very strong things to say… I do expect an apology for those comments.’
A defiant Kai hit back: ‘I’m not apologising for anything. So that’s cleared that up right away.’
He added: ‘I say we just leave the conversation and just agree to be civil.’
Not willing to let it rest, Olivia continued: ‘To call someone not genuine and fake, that’s not light words. That’s rude. You don’t think that’s rude?’
Kai told her: ‘Well, we’re just going to have to agree to disagree then. Listen, if that’s how I felt at the time, that’s how I felt at the time. I’m not going to take it back.’
Olivia said she was struggling to understand how they went from being in a good place to her seeing Kai ‘look smug’ when she returned from Casa Amor with Maxwell.

Moving on: Kai and Sanam enjoyed a date during Monday’s episode and fans now want them to win the series
Kai insisted he was smiling because he was happy for Olivia, before adding: ‘We can be civil then we don’t have to be friends.
‘Let’s just leave it because at the end of the day I’m happy, you’re happy, just focus on your thing like I’m focusing on my thing and we don’t have to cross paths in here.’
Olivia told Kai: ‘Well, as long as you don’t go around trying to say things to people, then I’m sweet.’
While the pair appeared to have gone someway to coming to an agreement on how to conduct themselves around one another for the remainder of their time in the villa, viewers were not impressed.
Many took to Twitter to say they now wanted Kai and Sanam to triumph on the show just to annoy Olivia.

One person begged: ‘Can Kai and Sanam win pls i need Olivia to SEETHE,’ while someone else posted: ‘I want Sanam and kai to win just to spite Olivia.’
Another person wrote: ‘Please let Kai and Sanam win so Olivia feels it in the pit of her stomach,’ while one other viewer shared: ‘Want Kai & Sanam to win just coz it’ll wind up Olivia!’
Someone else asked: ‘Why is Olivia so obsessed with Kai? She’s trying to make him look bad but she forgets we can see all HER scheming! I don’t even like the man but I’m bout ready to vote him to win if she doesn’t leave him alone.’
One other person protested: ‘Olivia is so sad and desperate. I actually want Kai to win now, just to see the look on her face.’

While another viewer shared: ‘I’m loving Kai all of a sudden cause he didn’t bow to Olivia. She’s such a dose. At this stage I’d love him & Sanam to win just to sicken her.’
Someone else tweeted: ‘I love Kai so much for not backing down to Olivia. I even want him to win now.’
And another show fan posted: ‘I will personally vote for Kai to win just to spite Olivia. I’m bad vibes yes.’
