Love Island fans turn on ‘trashy, interfering, narcissist’ Curtis

Love Island fans turn on ‘trashy, snaky, interfering’ Curtis and laud Anna for telling him he’s ‘a narcissist’ and ‘not a good person’… as Maura admits she’s ‘worried’ about his true nature

Love Island’s Anna has told Curtis that she thinks he’s ‘a narcissist’ and ‘not a good person’ after he gave horrendous advice to Jordan the night before that left her distraught.

Curtis coaxed Jordan into chatting to India about his sudden feelings for her, before consulting girlfriend Anna – causing the couple to have a blazing row, bringing their relationship to an end.

But on Wednesday night’s instalment of the show, when Curtis asked to speak to Anna about the situation, she had some choice words for him.

Snake: Love Island’s Anna has told Curtis that she thinks he’s ‘a narcissist’ and ‘not a good person’ after he gave horrendous advice to Jordan the night before that left her distraught

‘You’re not a good person,’ Anna told the ballroom pro. ‘Good people don’t move like that.’

When Curtis told her he cared about her, Anna replied: ‘You obviously don’t care at all. You’re a narcissist.’

She then went back to the others and said: ‘He’s not saying sorry because he genuinely cares about me, he’s doing it to make himself feel better.’

This planted a seed of doubt into Maura’s head.

She’s got his number: When Curtis asked to speak to Anna about the situation, she had some choice words for him

‘The devil’: Curtis coaxed Jordan into chatting to India about his sudden feelings for her, before consulting girlfriend Anna – causing the couple to split up for good

The Irish brunette, who is coupled up with Curtis, said it ‘worries’ her that Curtis thinks the way he does, and expressed concerns that she doesn’t know what he’s really like.

This was worsened when Curtis admitted he couldn’t promise he wouldn’t behave the same as Jordan if he and Maura were an official couple.

Curtis’ advice doesn’t come as a shock to many, after he essentially did the same thing earlier in the series with Amy, when he randomly decided he preferred newcomer Jourdan, despite barely knowing her.

Doubts: This planted a seed of doubt into Maura’s head

Viewers were quick to take to Twitter and voice their opinions about Curtis, none of them particularly glowing.

‘Curtis is trash. He’s a cheater. It shows and Maura should run away while she can,’ one person posted, as another typed: ‘Curtis is a p***k endorsing Jordan’s behaviour wow Amy got a lucky escape!’

Another penned: ‘Jordan and Curtis are toxic men that can’t handle girls’ emotions.’

‘Curtis is actually the devil, the way he encourages people to do things it’s actually scary,’ another tweeted.

Someone else wrote: ‘Curtis is a sociopath, there’s literally no real emotion in him at all. He reacts so weirdly when people try and reason with him too. Stay away Maura.’

‘Love how Curtis is claiming this is his fault because he always has to be the centre of attention,’ someone else posted, followed by another who typed: ‘Curtis proving he’s a even bigger d**k than we realised.’

‘Anna is spot on – Curtis only does stuff to make himself look good. I reckon he’s a psychopath and feels no genuine emotion or empathy for anyone,’ another person posted.

Curtis and Maura were nearly sent home at the end of Wednesday’s episode, narrowly avoiding being dumped when Anna, Jordan, Chris and Harley were axed instead.
