Antigoni and Charlie have been dumped by their fellow Islanders during Friday night’s elimination.

The girls and boys were notified at the end of Thursday’s episode that they would have to pick one member of the opposite sex to send home in the brutal elimination before picking who to give the boot.

Bye bye! Antigoni and Charlie have been dumped by their fellow Islanders during Friday night’s elimination

Ouch! After discussing in their groups who to send home, the contestants revealed who they wanted to dump from the Island in brutal scenes aired at the beginning of the episode

While discussing which boy to send home with Ekin-Su, Gemma and Paige, Indiyah said: I’d have to look at who would be open to giving things a shot.

While Jacques mused with the boys: ‘Antigoni is a very very good person for team morale.’

Speaking about Tasha and Andrew, Dami saidi: ‘They’ve had difficulties, we’re still not sure if Tasha is fully invested in him.’

After making their decision, Ekin Su told the boys: ‘All three are such amazing people. You are deserve a long change in here, a shot. It was very hard for us to decide, but we had to come to a decision together. The boy we’ve decided to dump from the Island is, Charlie.

While Luca told the girls: ‘This hasn’t been an easy decision, you’re all beautiful inside and out. We’ll be gutted to see you leave. We thought about who is open to love and who’s got a better connection at the moment. ‘The girl we’ve decided to dump from the Island is, Antigoni.’

Cya! The girls and boys were notified at the end of Thursday’s episode that they would have to pick one member of the opposite sex to send home in the brutal elimination

Reflecting on their time after leaving the villa, Antigoni said: ‘My Love Island experience has been so fun, intense, emotional and quick!

While Charlie said: ‘Yeah short and sweet, it’s been great though. I literally loved it, such a good experience.’

Discussing their experience in an exit chat, Antigoni said: ‘One of us was going to have to go, so obviously I’d rather I got to stay, but it is what it is. I’m really happy for Danica that she’s going to get her chance to explore. I think she was really, really excited to meet somebody.’

Antigoni also admitted she thought Charlie should have been given more of a chance to find love in the villa, adding: ‘I feel like it was a hard one. Maybe it would have been nice for Charlie to get a little bit more of a chance because Jay did have a chance to get to know two people – Ekin-Su and he cut that off and then Paige – so I feel like it’s a shame Charlie didn’t get to explore that a bit more. I think it was difficult for the girls.’

Reflecting on their time after leaving the villa, Antigoni said: ‘My Love Island experience has been so fun, intense, emotional and quick!

Explaining how she wish things had panned out, Antigoni said: ‘I’d have gone for Davide. I knew with Davide, if it did develop, it would have been real and if it didn’t, we’d have just kept having a laugh together and getting along and whatever. I would have wanted to have got to know Jay, but not make it so easy for him, so Davide and I would have kept vibing and having a good time and also got to know Jay.’

Reflecting on his own experience, Charlie admitted he wishes he’d had a bit of of a chance to explore romantic options in the villa, but has ‘no regrets’ about how he acted on the show.

Discussing how he wishes things panned out, Charlie said: ‘I think there was potential there but there was more of a connection with her and Davide. From my perspective, I wanted her to recouple with me over the other two single girls, because I saw the other two single girls in a friendship capacity. So it’s kind of like comparing a potential romantic relationship versus a friendship and you’re there to find love.’

After saying goodbye to Charlie and Antigoni, Danica and Jay could both be see thanking their co-stars for keeping them in the villa.

While during a private conversation, Tasha told Andrew that she wasn’t ‘massively surprised’ by the result. She mused over the fact they haven’t had a ‘typical’ love story.

Andrew revealed his hopes to ‘prove them wrong’.

While Jacques mused with the boys: ‘Antigoni is a very very good person for team morale’

After making their decision, Ekin Su told the boys: ‘All three are such amazing people. You are deserve a long change in here, a shot. It was very hard for us to decide, but we had to come to a decision together. The boy we’ve decided to dump from the Island is, Charlie’

In the Beach Hut, Luca explained his reasoning for saving Danica, and said: ‘I loved Antigoni’s company, but Danica has showed to us that she wants to find love and take risks.’

Danica then pulled all the boys to say thank you for keeping her in, as Luca explained to her that if they were picking it on a friendship basis they might have saved Antigoni.

The following day when everyone woke up, the group discussed how they missed Antigoni wishing them all good morning. While Luca and some of the boys admitted Charlie had really grown on them in recent days.

Gemma said: ‘It’s bittersweet. We’re lucky to still be here but it was hard last night.’

Ekin-Su said in the Beach Hut: ‘I remember Davide was like, ”I’m not going to make you coffee every morning, I’m not going to do this, don’t expect me to change” and it’s just really nice to just see him again, fresh start, a nice coffee.’

You ok hun? Gemma wanted to check in on the couple and see if they were okay after the news where Tasha admitted it got to her ‘a lot more than she let on’, as she revealed the vote messed with her head

Ekin-Su later returned his sweet gesture by making Davide pancakes after his gym workout. During a chat with Dami later, she confided that she feels happy the public can see what she sees in Davide.

Things with Ekin-Su are going well, I’m trying to be open and not tried to the past. I’m trying to enjoy day-by-day, h hour by hour.

Jacques and Paige had a conversation about whether they had been cheated on in the past. Paige confided in Jacques that she had been cheated on twice in previous relationships.

When asked if that affects how she feels about him, Paige said: ‘I do very very confident in us. But you never know how people coming are going to look or be.’

Sweet gestures: Following the advice of the boys, Davide brings Ekin-Su a coffee while she’s getting ready, a gesture that does not go unnoticed by the Turkish soap star

As the girls got ready for the evening, the girls are told they being taken for a night out.

The girls’ all filed back into the bedroom to say their goodbyes to the boys before heading out of the villa, leaving the boys behind. The boys went out into the garden to discover that there was nothing waiting for them.

They were left screaming: ‘Girls come back!’

The night out was all a ruse for the girls arriving at Casa Amor. Single Danica was delighted by the news as she screamed that this is what she had been waiting for.

Back at the villa, the boys were having a less than entertaining time as they discussed what to do without the girls. Just as the girls receive the news that there are six new boys to meet.

Among the six new hunks is Ronan Keating’s son Jack, 23, who is from Dublin but lives in London.

Famous faces: Among the six new hunks is Ronan Keating’s son Jack, 23, who is from Dublin but lives in London

Claim to fame: Speaking of his famous father, he added: ‘My dad is a singer, Ronan Keating. He will be watching when I’m on it for sure’ (Ronan Keating pictured)

Jack said that his father, who is a singer in Boyzone, is ‘buzzing’ that he is entering the famous Love Island villa.

‘My dad is a singer, Ronan Keating. He will be watching when I’m on it for sure,’ he said.

‘He’s buzzing for me, me and my dad are very close, we’re best mates.’

Jack is not the first Love Island contestant this year to have famous family connections, as Gemma’s father is English former professional footballer Michael Owen.

And when asked why he wants to go on Love Island, the social media marketing worker said: ‘I’ve been single for a long time, probably 4 or 5 years now and I’ve really been missing that spark that I haven’t been getting on the dating scene, like I’ve been dating for a long time.

Family fun: Jack said that his father, who is a singer in Boyzone, is ‘buzzing’ that he is entering the famous Love Island villa (pictured in 2017)

Like father, like son: Jack said of his father Ronan: ‘He’s buzzing for me, me and my dad are very close, we’re best mates’

Connections: Jack is not the first Love Island contestant this year to have famous family connections, as Gemma’s father is English former professional footballer Michael Owen

‘And I just thought why not? Hopefully I’ll get a connection with somebody and see what happens.’

The famous singer’s son appears to enjoy travel, often posting a series of globe-trotting snaps on his Instagram.

Jack also shows off his athletic side on social media, flaunting his muscular build in action shots as he plays rugby.

Jack said he hopes to bring ‘a bit of energy’ to the villa, saying he’s a ‘pretty positive, fun guy’.

He cheekily added: ‘I think some good chat and a bit of Irish charm as well.’

The new contestant added that he won’t be afraid to tread on any toes, saying: ‘I’m very competitive, for sure.

‘I play rugby back home in Dublin and in London so I’ve definitely got that competitive edge.

Stirring up trouble: Also on the troublemaking line-up is 25-year-old Deji Adeniyi. Deji hopes he’ll bring ‘an energy that makes people realise that love is real’

‘I’m gonna have to potentially break up a couple maybe. It won’t be the most ideal thing, but I’ve got to do what’s best for me.’

The When You Say Nothing At All singer’s son added: ‘I’m definitely loyal, my loyalties are obviously with the girl I’m with.

‘I’ve never cheated on anyone. I can be very compassionate, I’m not afraid to tell a girl how I feel – I wear my heart on my sleeve a lot of the time.’

Jack thinks he’s still single because he just hasn’t ‘met the right girl’. ‘That’s what I keep telling myself,’ he joked.

Also on the troublemaking line-up is 25-year-old Deji Adeniyi.

The accounts manager from Bedford claims he wants to go on the show because ‘my sex life is amazing but my love life is awful’.

Impressing the ladies: Samuel Agbiji (left) from Manchester is hoping to get the opportunity to impress a girl with his culinary skills while George Tasker (right) wants to settle down

He continued: ‘I am the master of failed talking stages. My love life isn’t going the right way so one night I decided to apply for Love Island and now I’m here!’

Deji hopes he’ll bring ‘an energy that makes people realise that love is real’.

He added: ‘I’m really going to wear my heart on my sleeve through this. A lot of people take the power of love for granted and I hope people are more open to their sensitive side. I was someone who was really closed off to it.’

Citing his more unconventional flirting methods, Deji claims the way to get a girl to like you is ‘by not giving them attention’.

Hunks: Josh Samuel le Grove (right), a 22-year-old model, is set to enter the villa alongside Billy Brown (left), a roofing company director from Surrey

According to the new Love Islander: ‘You give them 100% and girls know they’ve got you and then they start losing interest.’

Also set to stir up trouble in the villa is Josh Samuel Le Grove, a 22-year-old model from Essex.

Josh hopes to maybe ‘bring a little bit of trouble’ to the villa, alongside ‘a lot of energy’ and ‘good chat’.

He said: ‘I’ve always been single. If you’re going to find someone, it’ll be in a place where everyone is single and looking for the same thing.’

Incoming! Friday night’s Love Island sees the return of the much-anticipated Casa Amor – where the islanders’ relationships are set to be seriously tested

The model said he is ‘competitive’ and would ‘definitely step on someone’s toes’, but isn’t going to ‘take a big risk if I wasn’t feeling them 100 per cent’.

Speaking of his ideal match, Josh said: ‘If I were to settle down with someone it would be serious – I would give them 100 per cent.

‘Personality wise, I’m looking for someone who can stick up for themselves and hold their own. Up for a laugh, funny and doesn’t take themselves too seriously.’

However, his perfect partner has to have good dental hygiene as Josh’s ick is a girl who doesn’t brush her tongue – or takes herself too seriously.

Elsewhere George Tasker, a 23-year-old labourer from the Cotswolds, is ready to find a good mannered girl to settle down with.

Drama: Friday night’s Love Island sees the return of the much-anticipated Casa Amor – where the islanders’ relationships are set to be seriously tested

Speaking of what puts him off, the hunk said: ‘For me, it has to be bad manners. Everyone should have good manners. And being materialistic or self obsessed.’

He added: ‘I’ve been single now for three years. I had a relationship with a girl from Australia – my only girlfriend.

‘It was a long distance relationship so 10,000 miles apart for almost three years. I’m a lot more mature now and I know what I want in a relationship.’

George said that while is ‘competitive’ and would ‘tread on toes’, he does ‘put other people first’.

The Cotswolds native continued: ‘I learned a lot from my last relationship. I feel like I’m a very giving person.

‘I’m romantic and caring – I do wear my heart on my sleeve. I do put other people first, whether that’s my girlfriend, friends or family.

‘I’m very much a guy who always would make sure she is ok. I’d make her feel special.’

Here it is! Love Island has shared a glimpse of the secret Casa Amor villa which comes complete with an infinity pool, cosy corners for islanders to graft in and its very own firepit for that all-important recoupling

‘The most romantic thing I’ve done is I asked a girl out with candles. I laid out across the garden ‘will you be my girlfriend?’ in candles.

‘I got her to look out the window and see it on the grass. It took an hour to set up! She said yes – of course!’

Shiny and new: And the ladies will be in for a treat in the shiny new accommodation, which has plenty of space for them to crack on with the plethora of hunky men set to enter the home
