Love Island: Adam Collard was ‘buying a house with his girlfriend of two years before dumping her just WEEKS before entering the villa’

Love Island returnee Adam Collard was in a serious relationship just weeks before he entered the villa.
The 2018 contestant made his bombshell return to the ITV2 show this week, and despite playing down the seriousness of his last relationship to his fellow islanders, it’s been claimed by insiders he only broke up with his partner in June.
The personal trainer was even in the process of buying a house with his girlfriend of two years Josie Baxter before their sudden break up.

Adam was seen telling Danica Taylor during his first night on Love Island this week that ‘I only really got out of a relationship like two months ago, just over that, but I sat on it for a while. I seem to get a nosebleed at like 18 months.’
But sources close to his ex have insisted that Adam only ended things with his girlfriend of two years at the beginning of June.
Adam’s ex still appears in photos on his Instagram page while she last posted about him in March. The former couple also have a joint Insta page for their two bulldogs Storm and Stella.
Josie also still works at Adam’s gym, posting content from the Newcastle business while Adam is in the villa.

Insiders have told The Sun that Adam ‘engineered rows’ to break up with Josie after first speaking to Love Island about a return in April.
The sources said that Adam and Josie were both due to fly to Mykonos to teach classes at a health camp in June but Adam told Josie he wanted to go alone, breaking up with her days later.
The source revealed: ‘As far as Josie was concerned they were serious, they were looking to buy a house together.
‘Everything unravelled pretty quickly after Adam first spoke to Love Island at the end of April.’

A source close to Adam though denied the claims, insisting: ‘Adam’s only conversations about returning to Love Island were when he was single.
‘Adam was very clear about that during conversations with the team on the show.
‘It’s disappointing unnamed people feel the need to suggest otherwise, especially when Adam has no means of defending himself from these allegations. We would urge fans to listen to Adam’s own words on the show.
Representatives for Adam and Love Island have been contacted by MailOnline for comment.
Dumped Casa Amour bombshell Jazmine Nichol has also alluded to Adam’s sudden split, after getting to know him through her ex-boyfriend.
Speaking on The Murad Merali podcast she declared: ‘He’s definitely trouble… he had a girlfriend right until he came on. Like when I left he still had a girlfriend who he lived with, put that in context. (He) wants to get more fame.’

Adam has already caused a stir in the Love Island villa, focusing his attention on Paige Thorne, and causing tension with her love interest Jacques O’Neill.
During Wednesday’s episode the hunky personal trainer has his pick of the girls to take on a trio of dates, settling on Paige , Danica Taylor and Summer Botwe.
Wednesday’s new episode sees Adam get a text telling him to invite three girls of his choice to the Hideaway terrace for dates. He picks Summer, Danica and Paige.
Summer and Adam discuss their ideal date being in Rome, while Danica gives Adam a quick dance lesson. But it’s when Paige arrives that things get extra flirty, questioning whether he’s saved the best until last.

Paige jokes: ‘As if you picked me last!’ to which Adam replies: ‘Do you think the best first or best last..?’
Paige is quick to quip back: ‘I’ll ask you that question.’
And keen to know about what Adam brings to the table in a relationship, Paige says: ‘The little things matter most to me.’
Later, when Adam returns to a debrief with the boys, he describes one of the three girls as ‘wifey’ material.
