The fall in viewers comes after fans watched the singletons, who were clad in red devil costumes, lock lips for more than 30 seconds and make X-rated confessions- just hours after arriving in the villa.

Viewers took to Twitter in the droves with many describing the challenge as ‘boring’ and ‘creepy’ after having to watch the scenes unfold.

Racy: The singletons, who were clad in red devil costumes, had to lock lips for more than 30 seconds and make X-rated confessions- just hours after arriving in the villa

The challenge saw the islanders divided into two teams, girls versus boys, with each contestant having to read out a statement from a fork and then confer among their team who it is.

Confessions included: ‘This girl once got a sex toy stuck inside her’, with Jake heading over to kiss Liberty, before it was revealed to be Chloe.

Following the kiss, Jake said in the Beach Hut: ‘She don’t like the tongues I don’t think’.

Brad then read out another X-rated statement: ‘This girl loves to start her day by sending a tit pic’, and decided to pick Faye to kiss, who admitted it was her.

‘I mean if you’re in a relationship, you’ve got to start the day somehow, right?’, Faye said.

Aaron then kissed Sharon after guessing correctly she had threesome three times.

For the boys confessions, the girls correctly guessed Brad’s nan had once walked into him having sex and that Jake has a ‘massive foot fetish’.

Viewers took to Twitter following the challenge describing it as ‘cringey’ and ‘uncomfortable’, with one writing the ‘1950s gender roles vibes are just too weird’.

Bring it on: The challenge saw the islanders divided into two teams, girls versus boys, with each contestant having to read out a statement from a fork and then guess who it is

Another commented: ‘I don’t know about anyone else but after that challenge and finding way more stuff about Hugo, it makes me uncomfortable that he’s a primary school teacher and on that show and so I don’t know how his students are feeling about all of that.’

While a fifth fan of the show wrote: ‘didn’t watch a single part of that “challenge” it was so boring.’

Fans: Other viewers, however, found the challenge entertaining. One wrote: ‘I’m here for Aaron and Sharon after that challenge today’

Tuesday night’s episode ended without revealing who Chloe coupled up with.

During her speech, Chloe explained her reasons for why she had chosen the boy in question, saying: ‘When I first saw him, I thought he was absolutely gorgeous.

‘Even though we haven’t really spent any time together at all, the time that we did spend was just so fab.
