Loose Women accidentally broadcast Joe Swash’s mobile phone number live on air

Loose Women bosses are red-faced today, after they accidentally broadcast Stacey Solomon ’s boyfriend Joe Swash’s mobile phone number live on the show.

The TV host had been doing a live broadcast with Joe for a section about their current house move, and he Facetimed in as part of the programme.

But after Joe was finished complaining about his lack of wardrobe space in the couple’s new digs, he hung up, flashing his entire number to the studio audience and several hundred thousand viewers at home.

Fans were quick to point out the gaff on social media. One said: “@loosewomen Are you aware that Joe’s mobile number appeared on screen when he disconnected????”

“Give Joe a new mobile number #LooseWomen,” another said, while someone else asked: “Right, who all phoned Joe Swash at the break after #LooseWomen showed his number on screen?”

Earlier in the show, Stacey revealed she is refusing to let Joe Swash keep his clothes with hers in their new home.

She told the Loose Women panel, made up of Andrea McLean, Kaye Adams and Nadia Sawalha, that they had agreed on her using the space by their bedroom to keep her clothes, while he would use a downstairs room to store his.

But she got a shock when Joe called in the show to reveal just how much room Stacey was keeping for herself, and campaign for her to let him hang up a rail in her GIANT wardrobe.

She said: "When we first looked at the house, there was a small area for a wardrobe and I said, ‘I’ll need that space for my clothes,’ and he said he’d put his in the bedroom downstairs.

"When he got in there yesterday, he saw this smallish space being overflowed with my stuff, and it had to go in our bedroom and overflow there.

"He said, ‘Do I have any space in the wardrobe?’ and I said, ‘Well, you said it’s all mine and you can’t go back on it now and there’s no space.’

"He agreed with it! I wish I’d got it in writing but he was very happy about this."

But she was shocked when his face suddenly appeared on a video chat, alongside an overly friendly sofa delivery man, as he had called into the show to share his frustration.

He took the phone into the large, walk-in wardrobe, and told the ladies: "When she says about a wardrobe, she’s not really telling the truth… this is not just a wardrobe space.

"She’s got a whole walk in wardrobe. All I asked for was to put a little rail along the wall here, and she said, ‘No.’"

Kay started chanting to "Get Joe a rail!" with which he heartily joined, before Stacey shut them all up.

She said: "Don’t feel sorry for him – where’re my shoes going to go if there’s a rail there?!"
