Liverpool fans shocked by Oxlade-Chamberlain’s latest Instagram video

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is on the road to recovery following his devastating injury in the Champions League last season.

The Liverpool midfielder has been out of action since April, when he damaged the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee against Manchester City, and was tipped to miss the vast majority of this season.

But it seems the former Arsenal star may be back sooner than many expected, if his latest Instagram video is anything to go by.

The short clip shows the 25-year-old juggling the ball with both feet at Liverpool’s Melwood base before firing a shot at the crossbar with his left.

He misses the target, but he certainly appears to be on the road to recovery, despite his right foot still not feeling up to scratch.

Oxlade-Chamberlain posted the footage to his Instagram page, where he also wrote: "Right peg isn’t fully there yet but at least the lefty still works."

Liverpool fans have been reacting positively to this latest video, which follows another showing the midfielder working out at the gym.
