Lisa Rinna mocked for longtime hairdo by daughter Amelia Hamlin

Lisa Rinna mocked for longtime hairdo by daughter Amelia Hamlin… after admitting she began wearing wigs when Brandi Glanville slammed her look on RHOBH

She has been mocked for her longtime hairdo on reality TV.

And this week Lisa Rinna found herself being playfully jabbed about her coiff by her own younger daughter Amelia Hamlin.

Amelia, 21, was on a set where she found herself confronted with multiple wigs that were a dead ringer for her mother’s famous hairstyle.

There’s the do: Amelia, 21, was on a set where she found herself confronted with multiple wigs that were a dead ringer for her mother’s famous hairstyle

She posted snaps of them to her Insta Stories and wrote: ‘@lisarinna what are 4 of you doing on set with me today,’ adding: ‘im laughing so hard.’

Amelia also included a couple of playful shots from her upcoming project, including one of her sticking her tongue out toward a mannequin’s chest.

Lisa revealed in March that she took to wearing wigs after Brandi Glanville famously taunted her about her hair on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills.

The two women feuded during the fifth season and on one of its reunion episodes in early 2015, Brandi made fun of Lisa for having had ‘the same hairdo for 20 years.’

‘It really was that. “I’ve had the same hair for 20 years,” or whatever Brandi said,’ Lisa, 58, acknowledged to People while discussing her love of hairpieces.

‘Now it’s 25, 30 at this point! But yeah… it was Brandi. I don’t even need to give credit to her, she’ll take it forever!’ Lisa vamped.

Over the years fans have become accustomed to Lisa’s consistent short haircut, which she has had since her days a soap star in the 1990s.

On the Real Housewives, after Lisa took a swipe at Brandi’s ‘look,’ Brandi retorted: ‘You’ve had the same hairdo for 20 years and you’re basing it on MY look?’

Even Lisa’s close pal Eileen Davidson could not resist responding to Brandi’s dig by laughing uproariously, clapping and saying: ‘Bam!’

As the argument escalated, Real Housewives impresario Andy Cohen, who was moderating the reunion, asked: ‘Rinna, have you had the same hairdo for 20 years?’

‘Yes, I have,’ Lisa replied defiantly as she rounded on Brandi, flipped her off, and shouted at her: ‘And f*** you!’

Ultimately Lisa got a photo-shoot gig where the idea of switching her look up by wearing hairpieces came into her life.

She told People: ‘This photographer wanted to do wigs and I was like: “Great!” I mean, it happened organically. And from there? Forget it. Now you can’t stop me!’

Lisa shared that wigs ‘instantly make me feel better,’ including helping bolster her self-assurance when she has to film reality TV.

‘Let’s say there’s a scene I’m doing and I’m feeling like: “Oh God, I’m dreading going,” – I throw a wig and honey, I just walk through that door with confidence,’ said she.

‘It’s amazing. I love what a wig does. They’ve been such a great form of expression for me,’ added Lisa, who is married to her fellow soap star Harry Hamlin.

‘I’m telling you, the wigs have been so much fun. I’m an actor by trade, but I haven’t done a whole lot of acting in the last few years so I haven’t itched that scratch of stepping into different character.’
