Lil Wayne Tops Billboard 200 With ‘Tha Carter V’

Lil Wayne‘s Tha Carter V has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with second-largest streaming week ever for an album.

It is Weezy’s fourth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart, after Tha Carter III, I Am Not a Human Being and Tha Carter IV.

Tha Carter V was released on September 28 via Young Money/Republic Records. Nielsen Music data showed that 480,000 equivalent album units were sold in the week ending October 4.

Logic‘s YSIV album came in second this week after selling 167,000 units.

Cher‘s Dancing Queen debuted at No. 3.

In the following positions are Kevin GatesLuca Brasi 3, Drake‘s Scorpion, Eminem‘s Kamikaze, Travis Scott‘s Astroworld, and Post Malone‘s Beerbongs & Bentleys.
