Lauren Goodger has given a heartbreaking insight to her family rift.
Speaking to new! Magazine, the former TOWIE star, 34, revealed her father has been ignoring her messages and unfollowed her on social media.
She has spoken in the past about their fractious relationship and revealed she is estranged from much of her family, as she said: ‘I WhatsApped my dad three weeks ago and he sill hasn’t replied so I can’t really be bothered with him.’

When asked about their challenging relationship, she said: ‘I speak to my mum’s side and my sister and their kids but I WhatsApped my dad three weeks ago and he sill hasn’t replied so I can’t really be bothered with him…
‘He unfollowed me on social media. I don’t understand their pr oblems. It’s been like this for years. The more effort I make the more I feel like I’m being set up to fail…
‘He WhatsApped me on my birthday at 5.30pm and said “Happy birthday kid”. I wasn’t even going to reply but I was in happy mode.’
Earlier this year, she said of her family: ‘No, I don’t talk to any of them and they don’t talk to me. They’re good people, I’m not going to slag them off…

‘I just can’t have that in my life. I feel very hurt, upset and used at times. It’s such a shame since coming into the public eye how much my relationships have changed with my family. It’s quite upsetting, but I have to look after me.’
Lauren has previously opened up about her difficult relationship with her mother Cheryl, fighting back tears during an episode of Celebs Go Dating last year.
She grew emotional as she was asked about her past, revealing that her mother had given her away when she was just four years old due to postnatal depression.
Lauren went on to confess that she thinks these deep rooted feelings of rejection has resulted in her dating the wrong type of men and remaining in toxic relationships.

Lauren – who is is one of seven children, with four sisters and two brothers – explained: ‘My family are from East London. When I was four my mum gave me to my dad but kept my older brother and sister.
‘She said she couldn’t cope with three on her own. For me that was heartbreaking.’
The star then revealed how this had impacted her relationships.
Lauren revealed: ‘I can only think that I’ve been rejected. That’s why I stay in these long relationships when I shouldn’t, and however much they put me through, I still stay there for a long time.’
