Lauren Conrad too busy with her clothing line to join ‘The Hills’ reboot

When “The Hills” returns to MTV in 2019, star Lauren Conrad won’t be part of the reality show’s reboot.

“Lauren is concentrating right now on her Kohl’s line and her charity work, which she is very passionate about,” a source told E! News. “She is the head designer of her Kohl’s line and has worked with them for 10 years, causing her to fly cross-country several times a month for her work.”

In addition to designing her LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s collection, Conrad, 32, is co-founder of The Little Market, a fair-trade marketplace that stocks accessories and home décor and will open its first brick-and-mortar store in LA this September.

She also has her hands full with baby Liam, her 1-year-old son with William Tell.

“She’s in a different place in her life,” another source told People. “But she wants everyone to enjoy themselves. She wishes everyone the best.”

Conrad’s former castmates Spencer Pratt, Heidi Montag, Jason Wahler, Audrina Patridge, Justin Bobby Brescia, Stephanie Pratt and Frankie Delgado — who appeared together on the red carpet at Monday night’s VMAs — are all expected to return for the reboot, dubbed “The Hills: New Beginnings.”

“The Hills” premiered in 2006, running for six seasons before it ended in July 2010.
