She let news of their engagement slip last week when she flashed her dazzling new diamond ring. 

And Laura Whitmore looked positively smitten with fiancé Iain Stirling as the pair enjoyed a low-key stroll amid lockdown on Sunday. 

The duo seemed happier than ever as they strolled arm in arm near their home in London whilst making the most of the balmy weather.

Laura, 34, kept things casual on the outing as she teamed a graphic T-shirt with an oversized denim jacket and grey jogging bottoms.

The Love Island host hid her yellow diamond engagement band amid a myriad of colourful rings, finishing off the look with a pair of wayfarer shades. 

Sartorially in sync with his fiancée, Iain, 32, paired a pair of tracksuit bottoms with a denim jacket as he spun Laura around in the street to pull her in for a cuddle whilst walking their pet pooch.

The pair, who live together in London, have been following government guidelines while the country is in lockdown amid the COVID-19 crisis. 

So Laura was understandably outraged when she came across a group of men playing football together during her stroll with Iain. 

Sharing a clip on Twitter, she penned: ‘Social Distancing??!!!!!! How are people so inconsiderate’.

Laura and Iain have been keeping themselves amused during lockdown by posting several Tik Tok videos. 

On Sunday, the duo took part in the funny Swipe Right challenge, sharing a clip of herself pushing Iain out of the way in order to grab a pint of Ben & Jerry’s.

She captioned the clip: ‘What’s your Sunday night treat? Mine’s ice cream!’

The pair are no doubt enjoying spending plenty of quality time together as they celebrate life as a newly-engaged couple. 

Although news of their engagement didn’t come to light until last week, when Laura was seen heading out with her large sparkler, the pair are said to have engaged earlier in the year. 

According to The Sun, Iain proposed in South Africa after they filmed the most recent series of Love Island and the couple told their families last month.

A family friend said: ‘They couldn’t be happier. We’re thrilled for them. He’d obviously thought about it for a while, as he designed the ring and yellow’s her favourite colour.’

Appearing on JD’s In The Duffle Bag podcast, Laura recalled: ‘When we first met he didn’t even hit on me, he was too nervous to hit on me!

‘I think he was intimidated by me. I remember Iain was too scared to ask me out so in the end I had to ask him out.

‘He used to send me random messages, DM me and ask me about my dog. It took nine months but we got there! I was like “let’s just go for a drink”. I think I had to make the moves on him.’
