Earlier in the day Sandoval and Schwartz  finally shared a glimpse inside their new cocktail lounge Schwartz & Sandy’s ahead of Tuesday night’s grand opening party hosted by DailyMail.com and TMX.

The Vanderpump Rules stars — who are currently shooting season ten of the hit Bravo show — have spent over a year renovating their new LA hotspot, which is nestled in the base of the iconic Hollywood Hills.

In DailyMail.com’s exclusive pictures, the interior of the cozy cocktail lounge looks heavily inspired by vintage motels and is described by the pair as ‘delightfully kitschy.’

Sandoval and Schwartz both channeled 1980s men’s style with their striking suits. Sandoval opted for a double-breasted white silk suit with peaked lapels and chunky white loafers, which he wore over a coral patterned shirt while sporting a dark mustache.

Schwartz was attired in a double-breasted pink suit and a black-and-white tropical print shirt, along with black sneakers and blue-tinted aviator sunglasses.

The entrepreneurs and reality stars showed off their striking neon sign for the lounge, which featured tropical plants and Schwartz’s name in block letters, while Sandoval’s was written in a playful cursive scrawl.

The menu promises shareable cuisine and plant-based options, and the mixologist offers playful interactive drinks lovingly created by the owners.

The pair battled Covid delays and supply chain issues but were able to fulfill their creative vision for the venue, which includes an iconic ‘starry night’ ceiling inspired by the night sky in Joshua Tree National Park.

Sandoval quips: ‘It’s the only place in LA where you’re guaranteed to see stars.’

There is also an art installation inspired by James Turrell’s Skyspace, which is a virtual portal to the sky.

At an NBCUniversal upfront presentation in May, Sandoval shared that the two are ‘Going to do some toasted ravioli from St. Louis.’ They will also be adding some ‘St. Louis–style pizza [with] Provel cheese’ to their menu.

Schwartz added that they might pay honor his roots with a Juicy Lucy, a burger with melted cheese inside of the patty, which is believed to have originated in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

‘The reality is that we’re very, very close,’ Sandoval said during an interview in March 2022. ‘We text numerous times throughout pretty much every single day. We’re very, very, very close.’

‘We help balance each other out,’ he continued. ‘And we have a great working relationship. He gets fired up, I calm him down. It’s the same. It’s a very loving, conducive relationship together.

‘We really have this friendship of “no idea is a bad idea.” Let’s take it for a spin. Let’s see what happens. Let’s go for it, and if it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work.’

Doubters: But when the pair first introduced the name of their new bar, not everyone was a fan

But when the pair first introduced the name of their new bar, not everyone was a fan.

‘I think it’s horrible,’ Schwartz’s now ex-wife Katie Maloney said on season nine of Vanderpump Rules. ‘You wanna make it like psychedelic, funky, fresh, lights, textures, and then you want to call it f***ing Schwartz and Sandy’s? Ugh. I lost my boner.’

But the name ended up sticking.

‘We’re committed,’ Schwartz said during a recent interview. ‘We’ve heard people say, “Oh, it sounds like a Jewish deli,” or whatever. But you know, Red Hot Chili Peppers to me, when I first heard that name, sounded like a mariachi band. But now you have a different association. So when you go into our place, the name will become the place, the place will become the name. That will be the association.’

‘With TomTom, it’s like, Tom and Tom could essentially be any other two Toms, but Schwartz and Sandy’s? There’s only one Schwartz and one Sandy, and that combination, you know what I mean?’ Sandoval said. ‘You’re getting to know us even a little bit more, because this is more of our love child.’

Schwatz & Sandy’s is located at 1917 N Bronson Avenue, Los Angeles CA 90068 and will open to the public in the coming weeks.
