Lady Amelia Windsor walks hand in hand with handsome mystery man in London after revealing past heartache

She’s been on the books of modelling agency Storm for six years, been named as the ‘most beautiful member of the Royal Family’ by Tatler magazine and has more than 100,000 followers on Instagram — on which she posts as ‘Mel Windsor’.

But Lady Amelia Windsor — as the Duke of Kent’s granddaughter is more formally known — seems, so far, to have eluded Cupid’s arrow. Or has she?

I ask because the 27-year-old appeared totally content in the company of a tall, mystery man (pictured) as they sauntered through Soho, London.

Sporting a scarf almost worthy of Doctor Who, Lady Mel and her man went hand-in-hand.

Will Mel treat him to a trip to Ibiza, where she was pictured sunbathing topless in 2018?

Or something more tangible perhaps? In 2021, she went into partnership with designer Alexander Clementine, intent on producing underwear crafted from seaweed.

She might belong to one of the most famous families in the world and boast over 103,000 Instagram followers – but Amelia has still managed to keep her love life private.

She has never spoken publicly of any partners before. However, she did hint at heartache while speaking to a French publication last year.

She confessed to her twenties being ‘madness’ – and alludes to having had tough times.

But she seems to be coping, saying: ‘You have to learn not to be overwhelmed by life and… try to keep dancing.’

Lady Amelia, her older sister Lady Marina, and her brother Edward Windsor are the grandchildren of the Queen’s first cousin, the Duke of Kent.

A fashion powerhouse, she has been signed with Storm Model Management since 2016, joining an illustrious roaster of clients including Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne and Lady Kitty Spencer.

Her modelling career was launched in 2016, when she graced the cover of Tatler, who dubbed her Britain’s ‘most beautiful’ royal.

In 2017, she walked for Dolce and Gabbana at Milan Fashion Week, and featured on the cover of Vogue Japan that same year.

Romance: Sporting a scarf almost worthy of Doctor Who, Lady Mel and her man went hand-in-hand

At 27, Lady Amelia Windsor, the Duke of Kent’s granddaughter, is one of the most fashionable royal in London’s socialite circles (pictured on March 22 2023 in London)

Since then, she has collaborated with Bulgari, Chanel and is a contributing fashion editor for Tatler magazine.

The socialite and model is also a budding designer who has collaborated on several fashion collections over the years, focusing specifically on accessories.

In 2018, she collaborated on a shoe line with Penelope Chilvers and modelled the footwear in a advert campaign in Spain.

20 per cent of the proceeds from the collection went to War Child, a charity  supporting children from war-torn countries.

Amelia, who lives in Notting Hill with her sister, has also been making a name for herself with designer collaborations, including collections with SALOME and Pretty Ballerina.
