Pump the brakes: are Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods really becoming besties again?
Just a few short weeks after finally moving the last of her stuff out of the Kylie Skin creator’s house, and seemingly closing that chapter of her life for good, it appears that Jordyn may be getting a second chance with Miz Jenner!
Per the latest from Us Weekly, a source confirms “their relationship is on the road to recovery.”
We have to say, we are a little surprised to hear of this turn of events!
Since news broke of the alleged tryst between Woods and NBA baller Tristan Thompson back in February, the 21-year-old starlet was swiftly and unceremoniously booted from the KarJenner’s good graces. Though the decision to cut ties was admittedly tough for Stormi Webster‘s momma at the time, the deed had to be done — especially for Khloé Kardashian‘s sake!
As the scandal started to blow over a bit, Ky leaned on her family, her boyfriend Travis Scott, and other good friends as she did her best to move on from her closest friendship. As we told you, the young business mogul has been keeping busy by focusing on her growing empire — including new hair, skin, and baby merch lines.
Meanwhile, the Instagram model and aspiring actress has since moved into her own place and “is so happy in her new house,” according to the source. The insider adds that “she wants a fresh start; she’s proud of herself.”
Not only that, Jordy has been booking various appearances in London and LA as she continues to promote products while modeling.
Hmm, it sounds like both ladies are actually thriving without each other!
Honestly, you could even make the argument that they’re better off apart at this point.
Well, according to the source, this little break in their friendship allowed all parties involved to simmer down after the initial shock and betrayal. But even still, the former BFFs know their relationship will ultimately never be the same.
“Kylie knows the separation from Jordyn will help both of them — and Kylie’s family — to heal.”
It sounds like cooler heads have prevailed in the end.
While that delicate situation works itself out, the aspiring actress is staying focused on her career after recently snagging a role on an upcoming episode of Freeform’s Grown-ish.
Another insider explained to Us, adding:
“Jordyn has been trying to show the world that she isn’t riding on the Jenner-Kardashian coattails any longer, and that she’s doing her own thing and living her life comfortably.”
