Kristian Bush, Rita Wilson Announce Co-Headlining Tour

Longtime pals Kristian Bush and Rita Wilson have announced a co-headlining Summer tour.

The 8-date trek will kick off on June 5 at the Center Stage Theater in Atlanta, Georgia, and is scheduled to come to a close on June 19 at the Carnegie of Homestead Music Hall in Munhall, Pennsylvania.

Wilson, who released her 11-track album, Halfway To Home earlier this year, took inspiration from her experience with breast-cancer to pen the hit song, “Throw Me A Party” from the same album.

“I got scared and I said to my husband (Tom Hanks) that, ‘Look, if something happened to me and I should go before you, please be sad for a very long time, but first, I want a party. I want to have a celebration.’ So I had this title, ‘Throw Me a Party,'” she shared with “Taste of Country Nights.”

Meanwhile, Bush, who is also one-half of country duo Sugarland, is gearing up to release a solo LP later this Summer.
