Kourtney Kardashian ‘Bothered’ by Kim Mocking Her on ‘SNL’

Meanwhile, the SKIMS founder reflects on her stint in a lengthy message in her Instagram post in which she says that ‘hosting Saturday Night Live was probably one of the best experiences of [her] career!’

AceShowbizKourtney Kardashian apparently had conflicted feelings when it came to Kim Kardashian‘s “Saturday Night Live” gig. While hosting the popular NBC show, Kim took digs at family members including Kourtney and her headline-grabbing relationship with Travis Barker.

“Kourtney is so happy for Kim and thinks she absolutely crushed her SNL appearance,” a source claimed to HollywoodLife.com. “Kourtney knows the name of the game and totally took it in stride.”

However, the alleged informant claimed that there was one joke that that made thigs awkward as the Poosh founder tuned in with her children Penelope (9), Mason (11) and Reign (6). It was the joke about Travis drumming Blink-182‘s hit “All the Small Things” on her derriere.

“The line about Kourtney asking Travis to drum on her ass was not something that she wanted her kids to see,” another insider elaborated. “They were watching because it was aunt Kim and Kourtney wishes she would have been able to keep her children from hearing any of that.”

It was also said that Kourtney was “bothered” that Kim “didn’t run that Travis stuff by her.” The eldest Kardashian sister was allegedly surprised with the source adding, “Kim said that she wanted to surprise her but it was not a pleasant surprise.”

A third source, meanwhile, said that “Kim wanted to do ultimately what made her laugh. She knows that not everyone can take a joke, but Kim had to do what she had to do and if anyone was upset, she knows that it would be easier to ask for forgiveness, if need be, after the fact than to ask for permission.”

That aside, Kim’s “SNL” gig was a huge success. Reflecting on it, the SKIMS founder wrote a lengthy message in her Instagram page. “Sorry I needed a few days to decompress! I can’t wait to share my incredible SNL content with you over the next few days. Hosting Saturday Night Live was probably one of the best experiences of my career!”

“The amount of work that the entire @nbcsnl team puts in to make a show like this even possible is unmatched! I’m forever grateful for this experience and to everyone that supported me and worked so hard to make this all possible! Thank you!” she concluded.
