Kim Kardashian snaps selfies with prison inmates as part of her new upcoming documentary
Kim Kardashian is making her push for criminal justice reform a priority, and now she has the selfies to show for it.
On Saturday, the pop culture icon posted three smiling snaps of herself alongside a group of inmates at a jail in Washington, D.C.
Kim, 38, visited the inmates on Wednesday alongside Dr. Mark Howard, a Georgetown professor that teaches a course where said inmates can earn credits toward a Georgetown degree.

In the caption of the photos, the reality star said that she was ‘moved’ by the experience of meeting everyone and also dropped the bombshell that the group had filmed a documentary on the subject set for air on Oxygen in the coming months.
‘I hope you will learn about the justice system the way I have,’ she concluded the post.
Many fans took to the comments section to show support for Kim’s move.

Oxygen released a statement describing the project, stating that the documentary will center on Kim’s efforts to ‘secure freedom for Americans who she believes have been wronged by the justice system.’
Wednesday’s photos are another sign that Kim is going full-throttle on her journey to becoming a lawyer – an aspiration she revealed she’s pursuing after she helped release inmate Alice Johnson in June of last year.

Kim collaborated with CNN commentator Van Jones and attorney Jessica Jackson to bring Johnson to freedom.
And back in May, Kim paid a visit to two inmates at San Quentin State Prison as she sent money discreetly to a campaign to release 17 federal inmates facing life sentences for low-level drug offenses.
The influencer opened up to Vogue about her decision to add yet another title to her growing list: ‘It’s never one person who gets things done; it’s always a collective of people, and I’ve always known my role, but I just felt like I wanted to be able to fight for people who have paid their dues to society.’
‘I just felt like the system could be so different, and I wanted to fight to fix it, and if I knew more, I could do more,’ she added.
