Kim Kardashian reveals that she and Kanye had a ‘surrogate therapist’ to help with welcoming daughter Chicago
Kim Kardashian West has been open about her struggles during her first two pregnancies.
But it appears that surrogacy opened the door for a whole different set of issues when expecting her two youngest.
The SKIMS founder recently revealed that she, husband Kanye and their gestational carrier had a surrogate therapist to help them through the process.

The 39-year-old opened up about the process in an upcoming episode of Laura Wasser’s iHeart Radio original podcast All’s Fair.
According to E! News, she said: ‘You get your surrogate attorney, you get your surrogate broker and then the broker recommended that we use a therapist that would communicate with me first and then communicate with her and kind of be our liaison.’
Kim grew close to her surrogate, who appeared anonymously on Keeping Up with the Kardashians before welcoming Chicago in January of 2018.
She added: ‘Towards the end we got close enough where we could communicate really without that.

Birthing plan: Kim explained the therapist’s role: ‘Things like going through the birthing plan, so if anything was uncomfortable, she would be that buffer to say, “This is who I want in the room. What are you comfortable with? How does this work?”‘
‘[The therapist] would suggest, “Hey, I think you guys should communicate once a week through text, maybe on Mother’s Day. She’s a mother as well. Maybe get her a massage or something that’s appropriate for her to pamper.”

Tough pregnancy: In December, Kim opened up about her struggles with her first two pregnancies: ‘When I was pregnant with my daughter North, I had a condition called preeclampsia or toxemia, which is basically when the mom’s organs start to shut down’
