In her post, Kim, 40, raved about her time on the program, calling it ‘one of the best experiences of my career.’

Photos captured Kim sitting backstage with her loyal friends Stephanie Sheperd and Tracy Romulus, striking poses for the camera, and what appeared to be her SNL dressing room door.

‘I needed a few days to decompress’: Kim Kardashian gave fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse into her Saturday Night Live hosting preparations as she posted to her Instagram grid for the first time since appearing on the show

‘Sorry I needed a few days to decompress! I can’t wait to share my incredible SNL content with you over the next few days. Hosting Saturday Night Live was probably one of the best experiences of my career!,’ Kim gushed in the caption.

‘The amount of work that the entire @nbcsnl team puts in to make a show like this even possible is unmatched! I’m forever grateful for this experience and to everyone that supported me and worked so hard to make this all possible! Thank you! If you missed the show it’s now streaming on @hulu.’

Kim not only won positive reviews from fans over her performance, but she also drew enough viewers to marginally boost their ratings.

Kim’s October 9 hosting stint earned a 3.8 household rating (live and same day) and a 1.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic, per Nielsen.

Comparatively the season 47 opener with Owen Wilson on October 2, garnered a 3.5 household rating and a 1.3 rating in the 18-49 range, which is the show’s target demographic.

Using last week as a baseline, percentage wise Kim increased overall numbers by 8.5% and demographic numbers by 23%.

Household measurements are the earliest available data and most traditional, but do not include streaming — which now makes up a quarter of total television consumption in the United States.

The platform however is launching Nielsen Streaming Video Ratings and will start by measuring across 10 streaming platforms including Hulu — which offers next day viewing and live viewing of SNL.

News of Kim’s casting was perhaps the most sensational announcement since that of Elon Musk in Season 46, drawing mixed reactions from fans, but her good numbers seemed to be echoed in a flurry of Twitter statements.

Kim’s opening monologue packed a punch as she joked about her sex tape, said she divorced Kanye West because of his personality, touched on her family and plastic surgery and even called Kris Jenner’s boyfriend Corey Gamble a gold-digger.

The episode continued to feature memorable moments such as a Bachelorette spoof with celebrity suitors such as Blake Griffin, Chris Rock and John Cena, a Jasmine and Aladdin skit in which she planted a kiss on Pete Davidson and an impersonation of Kourtney Kardashian as a judge where she poked fun at her PDA with Travis Barker.
