Update: Kardashian took to Twitter in July to give her fans an update on the effort to change her Kimono shapewear line

Fans never get to see Kim K, front-and center, in the 59 second video.  Only her hand, and in particular, her fingers were showcased when she pointed to the various options she weighing to resolve the label cover-up issue.

She began by pointing out that her company had everything printed inside all the garments.

‘Since we are changing that [the name Kimono] I don’t want to be wasteful,’ Kim can be heard saying after revealing almost two-million garments already have the name on them.

The options: The reality star showed off a few of the ideas to cover up the Kimono logo; She shot down this idea of a large square label

‘And looking at the options, I don’t like that,’  she said as she pointed to one of the large replacement labels because it’s ‘just too big.’

She then showed the option of trying to erase the Kimono logo off a white piece of clothing had the name partially erased, which she shot down.

‘Trying to take it off just looks messy. We can’t figure that out,’ she added. She also shot down the idea of having a big square over the old Kimono name.  ‘I do like this one,’ she finally confessed as she pointed to a tiny rectangle cover-up. ‘That does look like a nice tag.’

She concluded the video by saying she’s been ‘working really hard to figure out how to not be wasteful, and change the name at the same time.’

The backlash over the Kimono name came swiftly after she unveiled her new company late in June.

She first told the New York Times should was standing firm and wouldn’t be changing the name.

But the outrage mounted when Kyoto mayor Daisaku Kadokawa released a letter on Friday urging her ‘reconsider’ the name.

Not long after she caved to the pressure and announced on Instagram she changed her mind and would be scraping Kimono.

Humbled: Kim also posted a quick clip on her Insta-Story showcasing a book that a fan wrote that was inspired by two of her children: Chicago and North West

‘My brands and products are built with inclusivity and diversity at their core and after careful thought and consideration, I will be launching my Solutionwear brand under a new name,’ she said in part.

Many felt Kim’s trademarked Kimono brand disrespected the traditional 15th century kimono clothing.

Kim also posted a quick video on her Instagram Story showcasing a book that was inspired by two of her children: North and Chicago.
