Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are expecting another child together, and if the news seemed like it came literally out of nowhere, that’s because it was very unexpectedly leaked.
“Khloé kept the pregnancy a secret to protect surrogate privacy and safety,” a source tells E! News, “and to protect her mental health from judgement from the public as a result of Tristan’s actions.”
“Khloé’s hand was forced to confirm the pregnancy before she was ready to announce,” the source added, explaining that Khloé’s rep had to release a statement about the leak “even before she had the opportunity to personally tell her closest family and friends.”
The statement in question made it clear that Khloé and Tristan’s baby had been conceived in November, before Khloé found out he cheated on her and fathered a child with another woman in December.
“We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November,” her rep told E! News. “Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloé can focus on her family.”
So, will all of this be covered on The Kardashians next season? Considering Khloé’s closest friends and family didn’t know she and Tristan were expecting another child, it seems safe to assume producers may not have either. That said, Khloé was being filmed in November and December of last year, so TBD on what footage might have been captured.
