Khloe explained that she nearly lost True, who turns three next month, yet she did not realise the complications would be ‘a lingering thing’.

Fearful: Khloe Kardashian has revealed doctors have informed her there is an 80% chance she will miscarry if she gets pregnant again

Khloe sought advice from Kim on what her ‘next steps’ should be following her sister’s own rocky path through her pregnancies.

Kim, who has recently filed for divorce from her husband Kanye West, carried two of her children, North, seven, and Saint, five, and had a gestational carrier for her youngest two kids, Chicago, three, and Psalm, 22 months.

On her journey so far, Khloe explained: ‘I have to wait until the mixing process is done before I know how many embryos I have…

‘But I spoke to Dr. A and she was just a little concerned about like, I did a check and blood panels and all this stuff, and she just said that I would be a high-risk carrier for a pregnancy…

‘I’m not going to get into specifics on camera, but they said it’s an 80 something percent chance that I’ll miscarry. I almost miscarried with True at the beginning, but I didn’t know that was a lingering thing.’

Khloe went on: ‘[Doctor A] said she would be afraid of if embryos are so hard to create, she would feel terrible putting one in without warning me that most likely I wouldn’t be able to carry.’

In her VT, she then said: ‘This is all really, like, shocking to me. All I’m trying to do is bring more love into my life and into my family and it just… I seem to be running into more and more roadblocks and it’s really hard for me to digest.’

WHAT IS A SURROGATE?

It’s a woman who gets artificially inseminated with the father’s sperm.

They then carry the baby and deliver it.

A traditional surrogate is the baby’s biological mother. That’s because it was their egg that was fertilized by the father’s sperm. Donor sperm can also be used.

Gestational surrogates: A technique called in vitro fertilization (IVF) now makes it possible to gather eggs from the mother, fertilize them with sperm from the father, and place the embryo into the uterus of a gestational surrogate.

The surrogate then carries the baby until birth. They don’t have any genetic ties to the child because it wasn’t their egg that was used.

Offering her own experiences for advice, Kim said: ‘I had the best experience with surrogacy… You’ll see that the love that you have for your kids is exactly the same. There’s no difference except that someone else is the carrier.’

Back in her confessional, Khloe says she is grateful that there are other options but she loved being pregnant with True.

‘It’s such a beautiful experience to have. Knowing I’d might never get to feel like that again, it’s daunting, it’s scary, it’s stressful and it breaks my heart,’ added the star.

True will turn age three on April 12.

Khloe says that all this is ‘shocking’ to her.

Speaking to the camera, she then said: ‘All I’m trying to do is bring more love into my life and into my family. And it just…I seem to be running into more and more roadblocks and it’s really hard for me to digest.’

Then Kim steps in and says she thinks Khloe may want to try a surrogate.

The Selfish author – who is in the process of divorcing husband of seven years Kanye West – says reminds her sister that she had ‘the best experience with surrogacy.’

And the KKW Fragrance founder added: ‘And I think that you know what giving birth feels like.

‘I always say, if you can do it like, it’s such an amazing experience.

‘But you’ll see that the love that you have for your kids is exactly the same.’

During her first pregnancy in 2012-2013, Kim suffered from preeclampsia, a potentially life-threatening complication that can cause high blood pressure and damage to the kidneys and liver.

Her eldest was then delivered around six weeks prematurely after being induced into labour to alleviate the condition. She also had placenta accreta, in which the placenta remains attached to the uterine wall and can cause severe blood loss.

Earlier this month, Khloe said COVID-19 threw a wrench in her plans to have a second child and it was later claimed that she had become frustrated with the process.

Tristan has been busy the past few months playing basketball for the Boston Celtics the past few months but had time to spend with Khloe and True, due to the NBA All-Star game.

When the power forward/center turned 30 last week, the source for the weekly said: ‘Tristan had a few days off and spent time with Khloe and True.

‘Khloe and Tristan are good. They are obviously spending a lot more time apart now since Tristan lives in Boston. They are still moving forward with their plan to have another baby.’

She revealed that they have made embryos for a second baby and described the efforts she had taken prior to the COVID-19 pandemic to expand her family during an interview on Sarah Hyland’s Lady Parts.

Tough to face: This is when the daughter of Kris Jenner says the doctor relayed she has ‘an 80-something percent chance’ that she will miscarry

WHAT IS PREECLAMPSIA?

Preeclampsia is a serious pregnancy complication.

It causes high blood pressure and signs of damage to other organs, usually the liver and kidneys.

In most women, preeclampsia begins after 20 weeks of pregnancy.

Even a slight rise in blood pressure may be a sign of the condition.

Left untreated, preeclampsia can lead to serious or fatal complications for the mother and her baby.

The star said: ‘We realized that my eggs aren’t strong enough to be frozen. They should be mixed immediately with sperm to make embryos. So I actually have made embryos.’

She explained how the pandemic put everything on hold: ‘And then, with COVID, finding this whole fertility process, if you do need assistance in fertility, it’s much more challenging during COVID.

‘They say, “If you wanna make God laugh, tell him your plans.” So the one time I’m actually really trying to plan, God is saying, “Uh uh, you can’t make your plans like this!”‘

Khloé added that she wants True to grow up with siblings like she did: ‘My plan was to have kids closer in age. But with COVID and everything, my plan’s been a little delayed…

‘I definitely do want more kids. I have so many brothers and sisters. I think it’s such a blessing — especially during these times — to have a family member or people that you can play with and rely on and just have a buddy through life.’

It comes after the latest teaser for the 20th and final season of KUWTK revealed Khloé and Tristan discussing surrogacy.

A source told People last month: ‘Khloé and Tristan still want to give True a sibling. It’s a big priority for both of them. They really want it to work out.’
