‘It’s really dirty and disgusting’: Kerry Katona launches into an impassioned rant about people peeing in the sea during bizarre GMB segment

So Kerry Katona, 40, was more than happy to wade into a very random topic on Thursday as she discussed whether it’s acceptable to urinate in the sea.
Debating the topic with TV presenter Nick Ede on Good Morning Britain, the former Atomic Kitten star described the act as ‘dirty and disgusting’.

Tuning into the debate via video link, Kerry stated: ‘We are polluting the world enough as it is, polluting the oceans at is. Going in the sea and having a pee when it takes two minutes to go over and have a wee in a toilet. Two minutes to go and do’.
Continuing on, Kerry exclaimed: ‘Say my little girl is in the sea swimming and then someone stood next to her and starts peeing… I think that is really really dirty and disgusting.
‘Don’t get me wrong, I’ve done it as a kid. But as an adult, it’s something I really frown upon.’

Kerry added: ‘I don’t want to be in the sea and have someone stood next to me having a pee.
‘You’re going in the sea and having a pee when it takes you two minutes to go over and have a wee!’
Despite Kerry’s strong arguments, Nick stood firm with his opposing view, reasoning: ‘I don’t think it’s lazy, I don’t think it’s dirty, I think it’s something you do because you’re caught in the situation.
‘Or, if you’re really, really cold, it warms you up for a few seconds. The thing is, it is completely harmless, and the sea is full of pee from other fish and organism. There are worst things that I said before – like suntan lotion.’

The segment has come days after the star revealed that she was forced to pull her teenage daughter out of school due to cruel bullying.
Speaking in her OK! column this week, Kerry told how she’s had to take action after Heidi Croft, 14, was badly picked on.
Speaking of her daughter, who she shares with another ex-husband Mark Croft, Kerry told how the youngster had ‘got loads more s**t at school from some horrible boys.’
Opting to take action, she explained: ‘I’ve decided I’m definitely taking her out of that school. Your schooldays are so important and it’s about investing in your future.’
