LeBrock first modeled as a teenager before making her feature film debut as Charlotte, the title character in the 1984 romantic comedy, starring alongside director Gene Wilder.

She followed that up by playing a woman literally created by two high school nerds in the 1985 comedy Weird Science, cementing her status as a global sex symbol.

A few years later she met martial artist Steven Seagal, who she married in 1987 and had three children with, before they split in 1996, which lead her to move away from Los Angeles with her kids.

‘Hollywood wasn’t a place where I wanted to raise my children. My divorce was very much in the press,’ LeBrock began.

‘And I’m just not a Hollywood girl. Never have been. I never really liked the attention. I wanted to have dirt in my nails and be in the outdoors,’ the actress continued.

‘So I quit my career and moved to the wilderness where I lived with no television for 25 years. I did the best that I could as a single mom,’ LeBrock added.

The actress has three children with Seagal, 34-year-old daughter Annaliza, 31-year-old son Dominic and 28-year-old daughter Arissa, who she called ‘wonderful.’

‘I could always go back to my career. I could never go back to my children. Some people can do both. But I already had the fame and was done with it,’ LeBrock added.

The actress has been living on a ranch in the Santa Ynez Valley since 1990, opening up about how fame never really treated her well.

‘I became famous when I was very young and it didn’t do me a bit of good. It just caused trauma. Being famous is not for everybody,’ she said.

She is also not a fan of social media, adding it has, ‘gotten out of control. I don’t want a part of it.’

She added she doesn’t have a computer, though she does have internet, ‘but it’s bad service. And I like it that way. I’m very happy.’
