Keira Knightley AGREES to play Coleen Rooney in movie version of Rebekah Vardy story leaking drama… yet insists she is neutral in the War of the WAGs

It is the drama that has captivated the nation. 

And it seems Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy story leaking scandal has managed to find its way up to the top of the A-list as Keira Knightley playfully agreed to scoop the role of the Liverpudlian WAG in a movie of the drama. 

The Pirates Of The Caribbean actress, 34, chatted with Heat Magazine about the spat and confessed she had heard elements of the story around and when asked if she’d play the WAG in a dramatisation, she simply stated: ‘Done’.

On Wednesday, Coleen, 33, released an incredible social media statement aimed at Rebekah, 37, which revealed she set up an elaborate sting on Instagram to ‘catch’ who was leaking fake stories – in a move that sparked mass scandal.

Her dramatic revelation enthralled Britain and sparked an angry denial from pregnant Rebekah, who said ‘I don’t need the money’ and pointed out other people have had access to her Instagram account.

The wife of Jamie Vardy has now given an interview with The Daily Mail, in which she insisted arguing with Coleen is akin to rowing ‘with a pigeon’.

When things first erupted, Netflix got in on the social media action of weighing in on the fight and vowed to make a documentary of the row, while others called for a movie to be made of the drama that has captivated the nation.

A vision: While blazing the promo trail for her new movie Official Secrets, Keira joked that she would play Coleen in the movie of the drama 

When asked by the magazine if she had heard about the dramas, Keira stated: ‘I have heard what’s gone on!…

‘I don’t think I have any thoughts on it all, what are your thoughts on it all? What thoughts are we meant to have on it all?’ 

And while she does not seem too interested in the intricacies of the situation, the interviewer asked if she would be interested in playing Coleen in a movie of the drama, to which she responded: ‘Yes, sure. Done! Brilliant!’

It has been revealed that Rebekah has hired a team of forensic IT experts to prove her innocence after Coleen accused her of selling stories to the press through information she obtained from her private Instagram.

A spokesman for Coleen said: ‘It is irrefutable that the leaks came from one account, and one account only.’

The saga began when Coleen took to social media to reveal she had suspected someone close to her had been betraying her for years and she had conclusive proof that her friend Rebekah was the guilty party.

Coleen admitted that stories about her basement flooding, returning to TV and gender selection were only viewed by Rebekah and these were subsequently followed by media outlets, including MailOnline.

The Sun has since removed their story about Coleen’s basement flooding after discovering she had made it up.
