Katie Price 'warned she's RUINING her chances of healing broken feet'

Katie Price ‘is warned she’s RUINING her chances of healing from horrific injury after trying to stand on her broken feet six months too early’

Katie Price has reportedly been warned that she’s jeopardising her chances of recovery, after allegedly trying to stand on her broken feet six months too early.

The glamour model, 42, has spent the past few months recovering with the aid of her boyfriend Carl Woods, 31, after breaking her ankles during a summer break in Turkey.

And The Sun is now reporting that she faces a potentially tougher road to recovery, with a source saying: ‘Katie Price was at hospital yesterday and she was told off by the doctor for trying to put weight on her broken feet.

‘She was showing how she can stand on her toes, she’s desperate to get back on her feet. But the doctor said if she doesn’t take his advice seriously she could ruin her chances of recovering.

‘She’s not allowed to put any weight on them until April and has been warned not to be tempted to put weight on her feet before then.’

MailOnline has contacted a representative for Katie Price for comment.

The report comes after it was revealed that Katie has been told she’ll be in her wheelchair for another six months as she continues to recover from her foot surgery.

However, the update comes as good news for the star as she had thought it would be closer to a year before she could walk again – with Katie crediting her boyfriend with her speedy recovery.

The new six-month time frame means Katie will still be relying on her wheelchair well into the start of 2021 but she is determined to stay positive.

Katie’s representative told MailOnline: ‘Katie knew there was a long recovery ahead but is doing so well – Carl seems to be just what the doctor ordered!’

The star has previously revealed she feared that her horrific injury would leave her ‘paralysed,’ after she plummeted 25ft off a wall at a theme park in Turkey.

Katie underwent an eight-hour operation to rebuild her feet after she was ‘mucking about’ following a few drinks and jumped off what she thought was a ‘small wall’.

The model also revealed that she returned to The Priory for some time because her ‘mental health’ has been ‘badly affected’ by her injuries.   ,

It comes after Katie hit back at wheelchair users who criticised her for voicing concerns over Carl fancying her while she is in a wheelchair – with her saying: ‘I’m allowed to be insecure’.

Katie has been dating Carl for a matter of months but has frequently professed her love for the hunk, who had a fleeting appearance on the ITV2 show.

After voicing her concerns over the passion in their romance and her mobility issues, Katie has now revealed she has received backlash.

She told New! Magazine: ‘I’ve had a lot of abuse from people in wheelchairs because I said I felt like Carl wouldn’t fancy me in a wheelchair.

‘I’m not saying people who are in wheelchairs shouldn’t be fancied. I’m saying, I’m in a new relationship and he met me how I was before so why should he fancy me like this? I’m allowed to feel insecure!’

Katie is mum to Jett, seven, and Bunny, six, who she shares with ex Kieran Hayler.

The star is also mother to Harvey, 18, with ex Dwight Yorke, Junior, 15, and Princess, 13, with former husband Peter Andre.
