Katie Price is in talks to be a regular presenter on Steph's Packed Lunch following the success of her recent interview, according to reports.

The 42 year old took to the hit Channel 4 show last month to speak about her son Harvey, 18, and their candid BBC documentary.

Former glamour model Katie left viewers impressed with her composure and honesty during the interview — and it seems bosses liked what they saw too.

It is thought that the show's bosses have offered Katie a regular roving reporter slot on the show, fronted by Steph McGovern.

A source said: "Katie went down a storm with bosses during her appearance on the show last month and producers are looking to make her a regular on the show.

"Meetings are ongoing but after the success of her BBC documentary Harvey and Me, she's keen to show there's more to her than her glamour model past.

"She will be covering a string of serious issues that are close to her heart – almost in a roving reporter style position," they continued to tell Daily Star Online.

It was during Katie's stint on Steph's Packed Lunch that she left viewers in shock as she made an X-rated comment about trying for a baby.

The mum-of-five said she is hoping to welcome baby number six soon after dating her latest boyfriend Carl Woods for a year.

However, she admitted they haven't been able to "practise" due to the injury she suffered last year that saw her break both of her feet.

When grilled on baby plans, former Love Island star Carl said: "We've got to have a bit of fun trying first, we don't want to rush it. That's the problem, when it happens it stops."

Katie exclaimed: "We are! I'll keep it clean because it's a daytime show, but where I haven't been walking for long now because I've been in a wheelchair, I keep saying to him I need to see a physio to get my legs strong so I can start riding properly."

Steph, 38, let out a shocked gasp and spluttered: "Right, excellent!," as the socially distanced studio audience erupted into laughter.

"Riding horses!," Katie shouted, to which Steph replied: "Riding horses, of course, that's what we're talking about! Are your feet alright now?"

Katie went on to reveal that the injury was life changing and that she would not return to her former self.

She said: "It's life changing, it is what it is. I can only be on my feet for 20 minutes and that's it each day. It'll be like that forever.

"I'm not on any painkillers because I don't want to be addicted to them, you hear all about that."
