Despite completing a stint in rehab, Kathryn Dennis admits she still drinks.
“I don’t smoke weed or do anything illegal like that,” the “Southern Charm” star said on part one of the Season 6 reunion Wednesday, maintaining her sobriety issues involved marijuana and not booze.
She then clarified, “It’s not like I’m drinking, though, going out partying, by any means.”
Dennis’ sobriety came into question after she appeared on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” in May and appeared to be under the influence.
“I haven’t really watched the episode because I’m too embarrassed to watch it,” Dennis, 28, said, before telling co-star Austin Kroll, “But don’t ever think for a f—king second you’re going to come after me and my sobriety. You better back the f—k up.”
In 2106, Dennis was ordered to attend a rehab facility in Malibu, Calif., as part of her custody arrangement with ex Thomas Ravenel, with whom she shares 5-year-old Kensington and 3-year-old Saint Julien.
On Season 4 of “Southern Charm,” the reality star admitted she failed a court-ordered drug test prior to going to the center and felt “humiliated” and “ashamed.”
“It’s the most disappointed I have ever felt in myself for my entire life,” she added.
In July 2019, Ravenel, 57, alleged in court documents that Dennis was “addicted to prescription medications, marijuana, alcohol, shopping and sex.”
Dennis shut down the claims in a statement via her lawyer, saying, “Kathryn obviously denies all of this and I believe that the submissions to the Court that we have made discredit such allegations.”
Ravenel also previously alleged that Dennis buys, sells, and trades prescription drugs with “friends, cast members and show producers to support her prescription drug habit.”
