Kate Bradbury will feature on tonight’s (Friday, July 3) episode of Gardeners’ World. The presenter will look into how wildlife has taken over her plot in Brighton. But what do we know about Kate’s life outside of Gardeners’ World?
Who is Kate Bradbury?
Kate is a writer, author and presenter who writes about her passion for gardening in her home plot of Brighton.
Kate has previously written for publications such as The Guardian and The Telegraph, where she explored her passions for nature.
She is also seen presenting on Autumnwatch as well as Gardners’ World.

Kate has previously opened up on how she found an interest in gardening.
Kate told the NHBS blogsite The Hoopoe, how her love for nature started at an early age.
She said: “I grew up in a house with half an acre of garden out the back.
“I spend my early years out there, grubbing around in the soil looking for worms, watching the birds.
“I started gardening from a very young age and the natural world has always been a part of that, for me.”
Kate went on to talk about her passion for looking after wildlife.
She added: “I love garden wildlife, but I’m also passionate about looking after it and can see the potential our gardens have for saving so many species.
“Wildlife gardening is all about the power of the individual.

“There are so many things going on in the world we might feel powerless to change, but simply by planting flowers and caterpillar foodplants we can make a difference for local wildlife species.”
Kate’s love of nature can also be seen on her Instagram.
In Kate’s Instagram, she not only captures the beauty of the nature around her, but she also shares her doing her bit to help the wildlife in need.
In May, Kate shared how she helped rehabilitate a hedgehog after she found him in a bad way.
Kate captioned the post: “Latest member of the family.
“This is Hattie, who was found very underweight and with a bad case of ringworm.
She went on to say: “Better now thanks to @hursthedgehoghaven. Hope she likes her new home.”
