After three years of marriage, JWoww and her husband Roger Mathews are splitting up.
The “Jersey Shore” star, who’s real name is Jenni Farley, filed for divorce in Ocean County, NJ, two weeks ago, according to the Asbury Park Press.
The 32-year-old cited irreconcilable differences and claims their relationship has been rocky for at least six months.
“The Plaintiff and the Defendant have irreconcilable differences which have caused the breakdown of the marriage for a period of at least six months which make it appear that the marriage should be dissolved and that there is no prospect of reconciliation,” Farley’s complaint said, according to the website.
JWoww married Mathews, a truck driver, in 2015. They share two kids together, 4-year-old daughter, Meilani, and 2-year-old son, Greyson. She recently revealed on this season of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” and in a heartfelt Instagram that her son is struggling developmentally.
“To find out Greyson is ‘behind’ or ‘delayed’ crushed me… but only for a moment… that moment came from wanting to have ‘perfect children’ and ‘how could this happen to me?’… but Grey is PERFECT and it CAN happen to anyone,” she wrote on social media.
The local news outlet reported that the MTV star is seeking joint custody and is asking for primary residential custody.
JWoww’s rep did not immediately respond to our request for comment.
