A source told the publication:  ‘Justin’s friends are glad that Chrishell is no longer in his life and that he can move on.

‘He is doing well right now, and while it’s been disappointing that he is being dragged into story lines on reality TV, he knew that he should expect this.’

Hartley had filed for divorce in November 2019 as it was recently revealed by Stause that he had informed her of his decision over text and it has continued to get messier over the past few weeks.

Despite the damage done, the actor apparently wants to turn a new page with integrity as the insider added: ‘Justin is a great, stand-up guy, and he wants to move on with his life in a classy way.’

This comes after his first ex-wife Lindsay Korman-Hartley praised the actor amid ongoing revelations about his bitter breakup with Chrishell.

The daytime TV star, 42, called her former love a ‘solid man’ who is a ‘devoted father’ in a Tuesday Instagram post which seemed to be directed at the Selling Sunset starlet.

Lindsay, who was with Justin from 2003 to 2012 and shares a 16-year-old daughter with the actor, said she was embracing ‘positivity’ in the post, telling her 47.8k followers: ‘In a day when social media should be used for positivity… an inspiration towards movement in an honest and deserving way, I’d like to join, by highlighting my appreciation for my family.

‘Today, I appreciate my ex-husband Justin for not only being [an] exemplification of a solid man but for being my dear friend and devoted father to our daughter. Simply put: for being family.’

It continued: ‘We derive our own opinion of people by experiencing life and time together, and we do our best to hold dear the ones that maintain consistent kindness, love and generosity.’

Lindsay’s message concluded: ‘No matter what conflicts Justin and I had in the past, I appreciate what we have today and I am thankful for the family we have built.’

Chrishell did not seem too pleased about Lindsay getting involved as she shared a message to her Instagram stories on Wednesday writing ‘Women who build each other up are my tribe.’

The reality star made the statement about appreciating supportive women as she shared a text post that read ‘be the woman who fixes another woman’s crown without telling the world it was crooked.’

Stause recently liked several tweets that claimed Justin had cheated on her, allegedly with new girlfriend Sofia Pernas.

The most eyebrow-raising like was for a fan who wrote: ‘@justinhartley filmed a movie in Canada at the same time his new gf @SofiaPernas was filming the summer before they split. The timing seems like he probably cheated on @Chrishell7 and took a coward’s way out to avoid spousal support and gaslight her.’

The reality star did not stop there as she also liked a tweet from the site Blind Gossip from December which included claims that a celebrity couple had recently split after he fell in love with another woman.

Interesting: Though she has not said it directly Chrishell, 39, has been liking tweets which hint that Justin, 43, was cheating including this one from a user named @Concernedsoap

However there are two sides to every story as a source close to Hartley told Us Weekly on Wednesday that the accusations are not true and that he began dating 31-year-old actress and former friend to Chrishell, Sofia Pernas earlier this year as the divorce was filed in November 2019.

Their insider added: ‘He didn’t even start talking to Sofia until the spring of 2020.’

Back In May, Hartley and Pernas were photographed sharing a kiss in Los Angeles just six months after filing for divorce from his wife in November.

The new season of Stause’s Selling Sunset has been peppered with revelations about her divorce.

Fans had gone wild watching the episode where Chrishell reveals to her costar Mary Fitzgerald that the Passions actor sent the bad news on text message, explaining: ‘He text me that we were filed,’ she said, adding: ‘Forty-five minutes later, the world knew.’

Stause went on: ‘I talked to him right after because I thought that must be a joke. But that was kind of the end of the communication.’

‘When I found out, I was minutes before leaving the house for work so I immediately just grabbed a few things and I just got out of there as fast as I could,” the former soap star said.

‘I don’t think I really knew where I was going or what I was going to do, but I just had to leave.’

‘I’m just kind of in shock with it all,’ the former daytime TV star added through tears.
