Jimmy Kimmel reveals he almost BURNED his hair and eyebrows off while cooking his Thanksgiving dinner
Jimmy Kimmel almost had quite the scare while cooking his Thanksgiving dinner, revealing he nearly burned his hair and eyebrows off.
The 54-year-old late-night talk show host shared a new snap on Instagram, revealing his singed hair, eyebrows and forearm hair after a cooking snafu.
Kimmel seemed to be in good spirits, sharing an Instagram snap showcasing the damage.

The comedian was wearing a black baseball cap tilted up to show the singed hairs on his forehead and eyebrows.
He also lifted up one of his forearms with even more singed hairs, though it seems his beard survived intact.
A number of his celebrity friends chimed in, including Chloe Bennet, who said, ‘I can smell this picture.’

Still, the incident didn’t stop him from delivering a perfectly-cooked turkey, as he showcased in his next photo… after cleaning up.
He was seen smiling and holding an oven grate with the plump bird, stating, ‘Verified Burnt hair-smoked turkey #happythanksgiving.’
Kimmel also showcased his generous nature in the next Instagram post, from Los Angeles-based St. Joseph’s Center, which provides food for low-income families.

This isn’t the first time Kimmel had a hair-singing mishap, revealing on an Ellen episode last November.
‘I haven’t told anybody about this but on July 4th I did a very stupid thing. I turned the gas on on the grill and then I went for a little walk to look for matches,’ he began.

‘And then when I came back I thought, “Hmm, I should probably open the lid and air this thing out, maybe turn it off and start over again.'”
‘And then I thought, “No, I’m not going to do that. What I’ll do is I’ll light a piece of paper on fire, then throw it into the grill,”‘ he said.
‘I did that, and there was a massive explosion in my face. I burned my beard off and my eyebrow off and my eyelashes off,’ he said.
