At the New Yorker Festival over the weekend, Jimmy Fallon confessed that after being an altar boy, he “almost” thought he wanted to be a priest.
“I loved it. I loved the whole idea of it. I loved dressing up. I loved the smell of incense. I mean, I loved the whole idea,” said the comic.
Fallon said that Stephen Colbert was also an altar boy, and that they have talked about “just showing up to a random Mass around the city and just reliving our altar-boy days. We might still do it.”
Also appearing at the festival were Jim Carrey, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Judd Apatow.
