Jim Carrey has kept us entertained in movies and television for four decades.
And the two-time Golden Globe winner is turning to another medium to help his fans get through self-quarantine.
He took to Twitter Monday to announce that he’s growing a beard during isolation and documenting it for his 18.5million followers.

The 58-year-old posted a slightly stubbly selfie, writing: ‘Day 1. I’m growing a beard until we all go back to work. I’ll post reg pics so you can marvel at the miracle of my meaningless transformation.
‘Normally, I try to stay on the cutting edge of entertainment. Now I shall conquer the uncutting edge. Please join me. #letsgrowtogether’
It comes after the CDC recommended men shave their beards, as it could interfere with a facepiece respirator.
Maisie Williams responded to the tweet with her own quarantine goal: ‘Gonna do this with my armpits xx.’
