Jesy Nelson was left panic-stricken on Wednesday afternoon as she found a huge spider in her kitchen sink.
The former Little Mix singer, 29, insisted she could see hairs on its legs as she took to her Instagram Stories to document her find.
‘It’s an actual tarantula!’ exclaimed a petrified Jesy of the air-breathing arthropod – which is most likely to be a giant house spider – and likened her situation to ‘living in the outback’.

Standing back from her kitchen sink in the video, Jesy explained: ‘Guys, I just went to do the washing up and I swear to god, it’s like I’m living in the outback…
Zooming in on a large spider in the corner of her sink, the reality star asked: ‘Is that a joke? Is that a joke?’
‘Please guys, I can’t deal. It’s a tarantula. For anyone who thinks I’m exaggerating, you can actually see hair, hair on the legs. Jesus f**king Christ!’
‘I love how everyone is just going aww, just wash it down the drain. Ermmm, I don’t think that is gonna fit down the sink. It’s an actual tarantula!’

Jesy’s spider incident comes after she took to Instagram on Tuesday to share updates from the recording studio as she continues to record solo music following her exit from Little Mix.
Teasing her solo music, the star captioned the collection of pictures with: ‘Cooking up the sauce.’
The star recently shared her joy over her former bandmates making history as the first-ever girl group to win Best British Group at the 2021 BRIT Awards.
Jesy gushed over their impressive accolade last week as she shared a sweet snap of her ex-bandmates to Instagram.

The singer posted the lovely image of pregnant Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards alongside Jade Thirlwall, with a line of heart and clapping hand emojis.
Jesy didn’t attend the ceremony at London’s O2 Arena, instead spending the day in the studio working on her solo music and teasing fans with an ‘exciting’ new track.
She wrote: ‘I nearly just cried at the song we’ve wrote today wosixjxkakamzossi that’s how excited I am for you guys to hear this [sic].’
When accepting their well-earned award Leigh-Anne, Perrie and Jade ensured to give a shoutout to their former fourth member Jesy.
Taking to the stage, Leigh-Anne said: ‘We have been together for 10 years it’s been the best years of our life, we’ve had so much fun we’ve made so many memories, we want to thank your incredible fans, Jesy.
‘It’s not easy being a female in the UK pop industry, we’ve seen the misogyny, dominance and lack of diversity, we’re proud of how we’re stuck together and we’re using our voices more than ever.’
While Jade added: ‘This award isn’t just for us, it’s for Spice Girls, Sugababes, All Saints, Girls Aloud, all the incredible girls bands we love you.’
