Jessica Simpson is the best model for her very own fashion line Jessica Simpson Style, which she proved again on Wednesday.

The blonde bombshell, 42, looked sensational as she flashed her toned legs while in a pair of very short shorts. The siren was presenting the fall collection.

The former reality TV star has been open about her weight loss struggle and how she lost 100lbs after welcoming her third child, Birdie Mae, three years ago.

The red carpet regular wore a black and beige striped sweater with matching boots and a black hat.

The Open Book author flashed her very shapely legs as she wore a pair of denim Daisy Duke shorts, which is a nod to her role in the movie Dukes Of Hazzard.

Catherine Bach made the shorts popular when she played Daisy Duke in the TV series The Dukes Of Hazzard which premiered over 40 years ago.

Jessica wore the same shorts in the movie version of the series with Johnny Knoxville from 2005.

She lost 100lbs in  2019 after having her three children; Maxwell, Ace and Birdie.

The siren revealed to Extra’s Terri Seymour in September that what really helped her slim down was changing her menu.

‘I went to a nutritionist, and I needed to get my eating habits right,’ she said. When asked if she feels ‘healthy,’ the siren said: ‘I absolutely feel healthy.’

She added, ‘I don’t know. I feel like my old self before I had children and all the hormones going wild.

‘I feel younger, actually. I have a lot more energy and yeah, I get to wear all the clothes that are in storage that I saved for Maxwell and Birdie. Maybe Birdie will outgrow them because Maxwell has already outgrown me!’

She works out more often: her trainer is Harley Pasternak.

And she follows Harley’s Body Reset Diet plan, which includes three meals a day to ‘keep the metabolism humming’ as well as smoothies and snacks.

Junk food is a rarity but sometimes she cheats with sweets like powdered donuts.

Terri asked, ‘Why are people obsessed with your weight and how you look? Have you gotten used to it?’

‘Oh, gosh, no,’ she said. ‘Would any woman?’

And she added sometimes the insults get to her.

Jessica said, ‘I’ve been criticized, and it hurts, but I’ve been every weight and I’ve been proud of it. I decided, “Okay, everybody is going to talk about my weight all the time, I might as well make money off of it and turn it into a business of selling clothes and acceptance.”‘

The star talked her fashion empire too; she took control of the Jessica Simpson Collection last year.

Simpson said it feels inspiring to control her company.

‘It feels powerful, but in a really humble way because we worked so hard to get to this ownership and, like, after 18 years of having a collection, to actually own it and to have put all of my, liquidate my investments, put all my faith in getting this just for myself and for my children one day, it was a moment that, I still sometimes don’t believe it is real.’

She went on, ‘I still feel like I have someone to answer to. And then I’m like, “Okay, it’s just us 10 girls.” We got this, but everything is growing. We’re having our biggest quarter that we’ve had right now in, like, eight years, so my mom and I knew we could do it, and we’re doing it and I just, you know, I feel very blessed.’
