She’s enjoying every minute of her time away from the hustle and bustle of life back in the states.

And Jessica Alba topped up her tan in a strapless black bikini while on holiday with her family in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on Tuesday afternoon.

The 40-year-old actress was intent on a week of total relaxation as she soaked up the sun at a lavish resort overlooking the Sea of Cortez in the celebrity-favorite town at the tip of the Baja peninsula.

Jessica showed off her sun-kissed skin as she relaxed poolside wearing a bandeau top with a thick ribbon tied into a bow.

Peeks of her abs peered out from the brim of her high-waisted cheeky bottoms which were a mismatched chocolate brown tone.

She dipped in and out of the pool between sessions of extreme lounging as she sprawled out on a navy and white striped towel.

Jessica and husband Cash Warren have three children together through 13 years of marriage: Honor, 13, Haven, 10, and Hayes, three.

She told PEOPLE in October that her reason for speaking about attending therapy sessions with her eldest was part of an effort to ‘destigmatize’ the process and encourage others to try it.

‘I think I’m just trying to destigmatize what that is,’ she shared, adding that two years of therapy has helped promote healthy family communication.

‘It really is “How can I show up as a mom for my kids and be the best parent for her?”…There really isn’t one sort of recipe that works across the board. I just wanted to be able to show up for her.’
