Pauly D‘s relationship with Aubrey O’Day never got the stamp of approval from his “Jersey Shore” family.
“Even before Pauly, I did hear she was in a high-profile relationship, but didn’t get names,” Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino told Page Six of the former Danity Kane crooner. “I didn’t wanna hear about it, and I just thought she’s a bit extra.”
After appearing on E!’s “Famously Single” together, the 38-year-old DJ and O’Day, 34, split in the summer of 2017. They’re currently featured on the new season of “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars.”
“I am not a fan of the preview of ‘Marriage Boot Camp’ because it looks like she’s coming at Pauly — like, calm down,” said Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi.
Though Sorrentino, 36, prepped Pauly D for the show, calling the experience a “wild ride,” it appears the cast’s opinions of O’Day haven’t wavered over time.
“She’s a hot mess,” Vinny Guadagnino said of O’Day, with Angelina Pivarnick adding, “Pauly is too good for her.”
As for O’Day’s history with Donald Trump Jr., Pauly D said he wasn’t aware of the rumored romance.
“We didn’t address that at all. Yeah, I didn’t know anything about that,” he told Us Weekly in August.
