Jenny Ryan, 37, took to the micro-blogging site to thank her fans for their support during her time on Celebrity Masterchef 2019, but some fans suggested she had given away too much. In view of her 51,300 followers, The Chase star gushed: “Thanks for all the lovely supportive comments about Celebrity @MasterChefUK – it’s been one of my favourite shows for years and was an honour just to be asked to take part!” Fans flocked to comment on the post, as some took it as a sign she does not win the series. One person asked: “So you haven’t won then?”
Another person queried: “You haven’t won then I take it… your not in oz and forgot the time difference and let the fox out the bag.”(sic)
While a third person quizzed: “Are you saying you not their now has I have not seen that episode yet #sad.”(sic)
Jenny has not responded to fans’ claims she is no longer in the cooking show.
Viewers will have to find out in due course if The Vixen has made it to the final of the contest in the coming weeks.
Celebrity Masterchef is pre-recorded prior to the show airing, so we will not find out who has been crowned the winner of the show for a few weeks yet.
Meanwhile, Jenny revealed her fears during a recent episode of Celebrity Masterchef after an epic kitchen blunder.
The Chase quizzer has been joined by a host of famous faces including Love Island’s Dr Alex Scott, 29, TV personality Dom Parker, 55, comedian Josie Long, 37 and poet Mim Shaikh, 23.
The five celebrities were set through their paces in their first challenge, before a spillage on the floor nearly led to a disaster.
Dr Alex dropped flour on the floor as he attempted to put it into a mixer.
Celebrity Masterchef host Greg Wallace probed The Chase quizzer in the kitchen as she prepared her dish.
He asked: “Any worries Jenny?”
She replied: “Well, I’m worried about the sweeping up we’re going to have to do. Slight explosion in the flour factory.”
Earlier this week, Jenny appeared stunned when her Chase co-star Paul Sinha, 49, told her she had been mentioned on Radio 4 show The Archers.
In view of his 128,000 followers, he wrote: “@jenlion YOU HAVE JUST BEEN MENTIONED ON THE ARCHERS.”
Expressing her shock, Jenny replied: “WAT,”(sic).
The Chase are weekdays on ITV at 5pm and Celebrity Masterchef airs tonight on BBC One at 9pm.
