Jennifer Esposito says casting directors have told her she’s ‘not white enough’

Actress Jennifer Esposito thinks she is being discriminated against because she is Italian-American.

The former wife of Bradley Cooper has had a busy career in movies like “Crash” and “Summer of Sam” and TV series like “Blue Bloods” and “Mistresses.”

Replying to commenters, Esposito, 45, said, “In the last month, I was told I was not white enough for five different jobs.” She also said Marisa Tomei once told her to change her name.

She blames casting directors: “Not getting a job is one thing, but not even being allowed in a room to have an opportunity is another.”
