Jenna Dewan has responded to claims that her estranged husband Channing Tatum‘s new girlfriend Jessie J looks just like her.
The “Step Up” stars, who share five-year-old daughter Everly, announced they were separating after nine years of marriage in April, and Jenna has since moved on with “Shameless” actor Steve Kazee while Channing is rumoured to be dating the “Price Tag” singer.
When rumours of his new romance made headlines in October, social media users began comparing Jenna and Jessie and commenting on how similar they look, but the 37-year-old proved she has no hard feelings about it by responding to a fan in her Instagram comments.
“FIRST OF ALL…whenever I hear of the ‘striking resemblance’ w/ Jessie J and Jenna Dewan my only thoughts are ummmmm no (laughing emoji) not even close,” the user wrote underneath snaps Jenna posted earlier this week, beg November 12, of her look at the Baby2Baby Gala.
“And I don’t have a horse in the race but gf (girlfriend) you are untouchable. Just trying to spread positive vibes, keep doing you…to an absolute outsider from a small town do are doing it seemlessly (sic).”
The former “World of Dance” host responded by writing to the user, “positive vibes all the way” with a blowing a kiss emoji.
Jenna recently told news outlets that she’s “very happy” with her new relationship, while the “21 Jump Street” actor has yet to confirm he is dating Jessie. However, the British singer was spotted supporting him at the London launch of his “Magic Mike Live” show at the weekend and he attended her show at the Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday night.
He even shared a picture from the performance on social media and gushed in the caption, “This woman just poured her heart out on stage at the Royal Albert Hall. Whoever was there got to witness something special. Wow. She went off tonight!”
