Affleck, who tied the knot with Jennifer earlier this month in Las Vegas, is also playing Batman in the upcoming film The Flash.

He spoke about reprising the role in an interview with The Herald Sun, calling it ‘a really nice finish on my experience with that character.’

He added, ‘I have never said this – this is hot off the presses – but maybe my favorite scenes in terms of Batman and the interpretation of Batman that I have done, were in the Flash movie. I hope they maintain the integrity of what we did because I thought it was great and really interesting – different, but not in a way that is incongruent with the character.

Ben first played the caped crusader in the 2016 film Batman vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice, before returning to the role in 2017 for Justice League.

In 2019 it was revealed that Ben was quitting the role despite being in the midst of preparations for a Batman solo movie, which was eventually revamped with Robert Pattison in the lead role, and released in March 2022.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is currently undergoing reshoots following test screenings in June, amid heavy speculation that star Amber Heard was being edited out of the film following her high-profile legal battle with ex-husband Johnny Depp.

However a spokesperson for Heard quickly shut down any rumours about their client’s axing from the movie, telling DailyMail.com: ‘The rumour mill continues as it has from day one – inaccurate, insensitive, and slightly insane.’

Exciting! Meanwhile Jason will reprise his role as Aquaman for the upcoming sequel, which is currently undergoing reshoots
