Janet Jackson dresses down in casual sweatpants as she spends some alone time without son Eissa during shopping spree in London
She’s rarely without her infant son, but Janet Jackson appeared to be enjoying some me time as she stepped out in London on Wednesday afternoon.
The American star was without two-year old Eissa, her only child with ex-husband Wissam Al Mana, while visiting a string of local stores in the English capital.
Wearing basic grey sweat-pants and matching sweater, Janet, 53, opted to dress down for her latest appearance in London, where she is currently based.

But despite her loose-fitting ensemble Janet still managed to show off her curves while calling into a local greeting card shop.
With temperatures plummeting, the singer added to her look with a black woolen beanie hat and matching scarf, while blue flatform Converse boots rounded things off.
Accompanied by a friend, Janet easily mingled with oblivious shoppers as she went about her day.

The appearance comes after Janet admitted it’s challenging juggling life in the spotlight with raising son Eissa.
‘It is hard being a working mother. I don’t have a nanny, I do it all myself,’ she told Stellar magazine. ‘Of course, when I’m working someone watches him, but it’s my baby and me,’ Janet added.
The five-time Grammy Award-winner, who shares Eissa with her ex-husband, Qatari billionaire Wissam, went on explain that fame isn’t for everybody.
She added: ‘You really have to be thick-skinned for this. You can really go in the wrong direction, there’s so much temptation, all kinds of crazy things.’
