Jamie Redknapp has proved that he’s still close with ex-wife Louise as he candidly opened up on co-parenting after their split.
The couple, who have sons Charley, 16, and Beau, 12, together, split in 2017 after nearly 20 years of marriage.
But former footballer Jamie had nothing but nice words about the stunning singer as he admitted that, while he’s found life hard since the divorce, co-parenting with Louise has been an adjustment.
Speaking on the Headliners podcast, the 47 year old said: “It’s never easy but you have to make sure the kids come first and foremost and you make sure that you’re there to support them as much as possible.”

Jamie went on to praise his ex for supporting their son Charley at his rugby games.
He added: “His mum’s brilliant.”
It comes after Louise previously revealed that her sons are secretly hoping for a reunion between herself and Jamie.
Speaking to GoodtoKnow magazine before Charley turned 16, she said: "My eldest is 15 and super-protective over me. But he knows he can talk about anything and doesn't need to be embarrassed, I'm so open.
"One morning he said to me, 'If you ever did want to go on a date, I'd be OK with it.' It was actually a big moment as he'd always been quite vocal that I'd never go on a date."
Although she did admit that they'd like nothing more than for Louise and Jamie to get back together, she added: "They always hope their mum and dad will work things out."
But Louise has previously admitted that she is ready to start dating again.
Opening up about her love life, she said: "I'm very single at the moment, which is not a good thing."
And discussing her divorce, she added: "It's been really tough. I'm a real softie, and I still want to be his best friend, which is impossible.
"It was like watching someone else's life unfold — it was almost like I wasn't really present when it happened.

"And I think anybody who's been through a divorce knows that it kind of comes and goes, like a grieving process.
"I try to be positive because it happened and I was OK with it happening but it doesn't make it any easier.”
