James Corden goes out with a bang! Chat show host films over-the-top segment for his final episode of The Late Late Show with Jane Krakowski and Josh Gad outside CBS studios in LA
James Corden was seen filming an over-the-top segment for his final episode of The Late Late Show on Wednesday outside CBS studios in Los Angeles.
The 44-year-old comedian – who has been blasted in recent months as one of the most ‘difficult and obnoxious’ celebrities in Hollywood – enlisted the help of Jane Krakowski and Josh Gad for his big sendoff.
The talented trio took part in what appeared to be a spoof of Singing in the Rain before changing into blue parade attire for an energetic musical number.
Corden beamed throughout both performances as he belted out lyrics and sashayed through elaborate choreography.
The extravagant production is one of the many flourishes that James has in store for his audience as he gears up for The Late Late Show’s farewell, which is scheduled to air on April 27.

Last year in April, Dailymail.com exclusively revealed that James had decided to walk away from his eight-season run as host of The Late Late Show in order to spend more time with his family in their native UK.
And now, James has confessed that he feels ‘huge amounts’ of anxiety and fear as he prepares to finish his run at the end of April, leaving him on ‘unstable ground’.
But the actor also revealed that he feels an ‘urgency’ to leave his coveted hosting gig and focus on theatre work.
Speaking at a PaleyFest event in Los Angeles earlier this month, James admitted: ‘I haven’t felt this scared since I decided to take the show, to move here. I haven’t felt on such unstable ground… (But) I have to embrace that fear…’
Corden went on to discuss his shocking exodus from Hollywood in favor for the London stage: ‘I’m just aware that what I’m trying to do isn’t the road that’s often travelled.
‘To go from like National Theatre, writing a TV show on the BBC, Broadway, host of a late-night talk show, shooting stuff in the middle of that, stopping the late-night talk show and then going, ”Oh, I’d like to do another play now.”
‘It just isn’t the road that’s been travelled to my knowledge, so with that comes a huge amount of fear. It’s terrifying, it’s absolutely terrifying.’
Speaking of his upcoming plans, James said: ‘There’s loads of things I’d love to do, but they’re very reliant on people wanting me to do them… I think it’s going to be really important to take a breath and take a minute.’

Corden was still a bundle of energy at the end of the day. He shared a sweet embrace with the Broadway star after Josh presented him with a loving note that read: ‘James I love you Josh Gad’
Corden soaked up his remaining time on the CBS lot with his visage plastered on a billboard in the background. The final episode of The Late Late Show is scheduled to air on April 27
On returning to his theatre roots, the English funnyman confessed: ‘It couldn’t feel more urgent within me to leave to do that [theatre].
‘I will be really, really upset with myself if in the next year or year and a half or so I don’t go do another play or revisit a play I’ve already done. I would give anything to go back and do a show again, I’d give absolutely anything.’
James concluded by insisting he feels he is making the right decision to walk away from the show.
He declared: ‘I’m so certain it’s the right thing to do. I’m so absolutely certain that we did everything we wanted to do and I think it’s really important to have things end.’
