Jacqueline Jossa has hit out at people ignoring rules to stay at home and practice social distancing from others amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and admitted lockdown has left her children stressed out
The actress, 27, took to Instagram Stories and uploaded a video where she sat in her garden and hit out at people who have been meeting up with friends outdoors.
She said: ‘Just stay indoors. Just because it’s hot outside, if you haven’t got a garden it’s one of them things, tough! Maybe do your one day exercise and take a walk or something, just stay indoors.
Speaking out: Jacqueline Jossa, 27, has hit out at people ignoring rules to stay at home and practice social distancing amid the ongoing coronavirus lockdown
‘Otherwise, we’re going to be doing this for f*****g ages. I read somewhere someone was having a house party, oh my God. There should be stricter rules for people that are that f*****g stupid to have house parties when we are in the state that we’re in.’
‘Have people just forgot that we’re going through all of this? You can’t go around your mates house, you can’t have big family groups, you can’t have barbecues with 20 people, just stay in your own homes with the people yourself-isolating with.’
Later, Jacqueline shared another clip of herself sitting on her sofa in a dressing gown as she hit back at social media users who criticised her for telling people to stay indoors while sitting in her garden.
She said: ‘I’m really done with people on Instagram DM’ing saying stupid stuff like, “oh my God, easy for you to say in your garden.” Yeah, I’m in my garden.
Family: Jacqueline revealed her daughters Ella, five, and Mia, one, have been ‘stressed’ due to having to stay indoors during the ongoing lockdown
‘I understand people in flats with kids and stuff, it’s really hard. I understand it’s hard but it’s doable. Otherwise, we’ll be doing this for months and months.
Jacqueline explained that she was not telling people they could not set foot outside but that they should not try and meet people who they do not live with.
She said: ‘If you’re in a flat and you’re like, “the kids are driving me mad, I’ve got to get out”, just go for a walk, no one is saying you can’t go for a walk, go get some fresh air.
‘Just don’t go to the park and let your kids play with other people’s kids. Don’t go on playdates, stuff like that. I know it’s hard. I have a house with a garden and it’s hard. But we have the easy job, we’re not on the front lines trying to save people’s lives.’

The I’m A Celebrity winner explained her children, daughters Ella, five, and Mia, one, who she shares with husband Dan Osborne, are currently ‘stressed’ that they can’t go anywhere.
She said: ‘We all want to go out, we all have kids that are worried and stressed and don’t realise why they can’t go to the shops. My kids are five and one and they don’t understand it, yes they are getting stressed. I completely understand it.
‘Don’t DM me saying, easy for you to stay. No, just stay indoors. Whether it’s a one bed flat, a studio or a mansion, just stay indoors. Then everyone can have a big massive party when this is eventually, hopefully, all over.’
Jacqueline later shared a message further hitting out at people who ignored stay at home orders to go outside during the warm weather.

She wrote: ‘Who ever went to the beach, or the park, for a picnic surrounded by other people, strangers… you are d*******s! There are people that haven’t met grandchildren yet, people that are avoiding their elderly relatives that will never ever get this time back.
‘We have been asked to do one thing, to keep each other and our families safe and thousands of people that fancied a trip to the beach are here to ruin it [sic].
‘Here to keep us in lock down for even longer than we needed to. I am so disappointed. I miss my mum and dad, my family and my friends, my little nieces and nephews so much. It hurts.
‘I stay indoors because I care about us all and our future. Some people are just t***s aren’t they? Ergh.’
