Jack Fincham announces his grandmother has died in a heartbreaking statement

Jack Fincham has announced the heartbreaking news that his grandmother has died.

The 28 year old took to Instagram to share a touching tribute to his nan Kath alongside some gorgeous photos of the pair together.

Love Island star Jack posted seven photos of her to his 2.3million followers, claiming she was "the best nanny".

He wrote: "Rest in peace my beautiful Nanny I love you and miss you so much already Nanny Kath.

"I told you everything and you always gave me the best advice.

"You were the rock of the family and not a day will go by when I won’t think of you.

"Love you so much you were the best Nanny I could of ever asked for I have so many amazing memories with you.

"I know you'll be looking down on us all. your finally at peace now." [sic]

Fans of the former stationery salesman were quick to flood him with messages of support, with one writing: "So sorry for your loss," alongside a broken heart emoji.

A second wrote: "So sorry to hear this love to you and all your family at this sad time."

As a third commented: "Much love mate nothing worse keep your chin up she will be proud of you."

While a fourth offered: "So sorry for your loss Jack! Sending you and your family my prayers."

Jack's sad news comes less than two months after he shocked fans by announcing he had welcomed a baby girl.

Announcing the birth of Blossom, he wrote: "I’m normally a very open book and share most of my life on my social media.

"This blessing I chose not to. I’m just a normal geeza, who went on a tv show, which throws you straight into the public eye…which I will forever be grateful for.

"However I knew for myself I needed personal time and to keep this part of my life private to prepare for this new responsibility and part of me that will change my life forever.

"This is undoubtedly the best thing that has ever happened to me and it’s true what they say, the instant feeling of love and connection you have with your child is a feeling like no other.
