Our Yorkshire Farm follows Amanda Owen, 46, and her husband Clive Owen, 66, along with their nine children. The latest outing saw the Yorkshire Shepherdess and her husband open up about how life on the farm can be “tough”.

Amanda and Clive were speaking about weather conditions on the farm.

Clive then admitted they’d experienced some extremes in the past.

He said: “It’s a tough place, we have been caught right out there with sheep.

“In mountainous snow, and it’s taken us days and days to get them home.”

Amanda then waded in, explaining how they have to act fast when bad weather hits.

She added: “When a blizzard hits or a storm is coming in, you can’t just batten down the hatches and shut the door and curl up under the duvet.”

Owen then continued: “You need to be ready for when that bad forecast comes.

“You can conquer anything if you’ve done that preparation before, can’t you?”

The pair have been hard at work trying to make their new farmhouse addition suitable for all weather.

However, they were seen struggling with the roofing as they explained their difficulties.

The show was filmed back in October but Amanda has been open about still struggling with the weather now.

Posting on social media, Amanda shared “dire conditions” on the farm recently.

She recently shared a photo of herself enduring brutal conditions on the rural farm.

Posting in front of her 163,500 followers on Twitter, she wrote: “Conditions are dire.

“It is very difficult to stay positive, but…

“’No winter lasts forever, no spring skips it turn’.”

As well as airing the issues on the farm, the latest episode of the show also featured some heartwarming moments.

This included the children working with dad Clive to work out how to fix the barn.

The segment saw many of the kids mucking in to help create an owl box.

They then showed it off to Amanda and her other children in a sweet moment.

Our Yorkshire Farm airs on Channel 5 on Tuesdays.
